"What in the actual hell is that thing!?" RJ yelled, backing away from the horrendous, Vex-like monstrosity. "It.. It appears to be Vex, but it's unlike any other variant we've seen before!" Ventis shouted back. "It seems to be holding the professor captive in it's core!" "N-No! Not.. Not the professor!" Dawn cried. "We have to save him!" RJ adjusted his cloak. "Dawn's right. If the hood was on the other head, the professor would've wasted no time to save us! C'mon!" RJ bellowed out a battle cry, gripping his reality sword and charging the massive Vex creature. It looked down, almost as if it didn't have a care, and knocked the young guardian back like a pesky insect. RJ impacted a wall, where he shouted in pain and went unconscious shortly afterward. "I think.. A couple of my bones need a b-buff.." RJ gasped, before going silent. [b][i]Denizens of the light.. So, so weak.. Is this what the gardener has as an army?[/i][/b] The Vex creature spoke. "We're not weak! We're strong! We've been taught by the best professor ever and you're gonna be sorry if you don't give him back!" Dawn angrily barked. [b][i]He is I and I am Him. We are one. Without him, there is no me.. Without me.. There is no him. We must be joined together to co-exist. Such is our renown nature.[/i][/b] Dawn lowered her sword in utter confusion. "Ven.. I.. I have no idea what that means. What is the vex thingamajig on about?" Before he could even answer, Mr. Oddish came walking from behind him. The Vex creature slowly lumbering in front of him. "Mr. Oddish!" They both shouted, relief in their voices. "Hey. I was gonna let you guys handle the situation but.. Wasn't really expecting this. This has become even more serious." He simply stated. "That thing is of Vex origin. If I'm correct, it originates from a point in time and space that is completely paradoxical. Meaning that it literally could not exist, but at the same time, [i]did[/i] exist.." "Mr. Oddish.. I'm still not following." Dawn stated. "It's using BraveCole as a conduit to enter our little corner of reality. And now that it's free from it's paradox prison.." Oddish trailed off. "It can shape time and space to it's very will." Ventis finished up. "Exactly." [b][i]And I shall do so.. But first.. I shall erase the inconsistencies.[/i][/b] The Vex Creature lifted up it's hand, balling it into a fist and bringing it back down, in an attempt to smash the guardians. The mechanical fist landed on Oddish, but he used both hands and stopped it dead in it's tracks. He continued to resist, struggling. "Ventis! Dawn! Hurry, attack it while it's focused on me! Can't.. Hold for much longer!" Oddish shouted, gritting his teeth. "Right!" And with that, the Kinderguardians jumped on the arm of the creature and ran along it. "The eyes! Go for the eyes!" Ventis shouted. The Kinderguardians took their reality blades and drove them deep into the robotic eyes of the monstrosity, causing it to let out a distorted cry of pain. It let up on Oddish and stumbled backward. "Now it's my turn!" Oddish yelled. He broke into a mighty sprint, before jumping up and reeling back his arc charged fist. He sent a furious hay maker straight into the face of the vex, causing extreme damage and sparks and metal to fly from the impact. The creature fell backward, seemingly defeated. The guardians breathed a sigh of relief. "Is.. Is it over?" Dawn said. All of a sudden, the creature sparked back to life, jumping back up as if it hadn't been hurt at all. [b][i]I feel.. I feel.. ANGER. I FEEL I FEEL I FEEL I FEEL I FEEL I FEEL I FEEL[/i][/b] "Stand back! Get some space!" Oddish shouted, signaling for the others to fall back. [b][i]ERASE.. ERASE... ERASE.. ERASE... EVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHINGEVERYTHING[/i][/b] "That can't be good. No, could he really..?" Ventis question. The Vex creature began rasing his hand to the sky, as a massive, black hole began swirling in it. [b][i]Timeline Eraser imminent. Sequence starting in 3...[/i][/b] "Mr. Oddish!?" Dawn screamed in fear. [b][i]2...[/i][/b] "It's all over! He's going to erase everything!" Ventis yelled. [b][i]1...[/i][/b] Mr. Oddish said nothing, he instead balled up his fists in anger and waited the inevitable. If it ever came. The Vex creature stood still, seemingly paused in time. "Did.. Did it malfunction?" I am Paradoxis, Reality's Conflux! I control the river of time and space.. Not you![/i][/b] BraveCole raised an eyebrow. "The moment you made me join with you, I thought I was a goner. But I figured out your algorithm. You can't exist without me, that fact alone means I have some sort of influence in this place. Using my ghost and her ability of ressurection, I managed to create a pocket simulation. And in this simulation, I die again and again and again. And you win. Over.. And over.. And over. Like I said, Paradoxis. There's no escape." Paradoxis went silent, before speaking. [b][i]I just.. Wanted to exist.. To exist like you..[/i][/b] BraveCole fell silent. Then.. He smiled. ------------------------------------------------------------------- [i][/i]Back on Earth...[i][/i] Paradoxis was still frozen in place, like a statue. RJ, waking up from his forced nap, slowly stumbled back up and laid his eyes upon the Vex. He instantly perked back up. "Ha! It's frozen in fear! Now's my chance!" He readied his sword once more, and charged the mechanical beast. "GRAAAAAAAAH!!!" The young hunter shouted. As soon as he came within ten feet, Paradoxis exploded in a violent fashion, sending scraps of metal and vex mind fluid everywhere. [b][i][/i][/b]BOOOOM![b][i][/i][/b] RJ, naturally, was flung back. Mr. Oddish, unsurprised, nonchalantly extended his arm and caught RJ by his hood. "If only your intelligence was as good as your persistence.." Mr. Oddish sighed. Once the smoke cleared, BraveCole could be seen awkwardly walking away from the wreckage. "Professor!" The Kinderguardians shouted. "Glad to see you alive, BraveCole." Mr. Oddish said. "I'm about to throw up." BraveCole said randomly, hunching over. "My brain hurts. I feel.. Urgh.." BraveCole then collapsed face first onto the ground. Becky then floated by BraveCole's head, before speaking. "I guess you could say that he had a.. Vexual encounter.." Becky said, before giggling. There was silence. Oddish simply shook his head dissapontingly along with the young guardians. "Ms. Becky, your pun j-just gave m-me anxiety." Dawn said, her stutter returning.
