Okay so I did a bit of a scumbag thing. I've been a legit player all of my life but one weekend while super bored, my friend suggested we play Trials and DDOS to the light house. I was a bit skeptical but I did it anyway. I got 8 wins but then I got disconnected twice in a row. So not only did I not even get the lighthouse loot, but I also got banned. This is something that I heavily regret from the bottom of my heart, especially because I've been on the other side of it. My question is: does anyone know how long these bans run for? I got on the other day to play but I noticed that I was banned from all crucible activities. I checked a few days later and I was unbanned from crucible but still banned from Trials (can't put my trials gear on). Anyone have a similar experience?
PS, if you're going to comment "GLAD YOU'RE BANNED YOU CHEATER BLAH BLAH BLAH," please don't. I've played Destiny legit since 2014 and I sherpa'd Kings Fall and Crotas End 4 times a week. I definitely did something I shouldn't have done and I regret it, but I am also ready to accept the consequences. I just want to know how long I'm going to be banned because with all of the Destiny 2 hype, I've been playing Destiny again lately.
