I think we can all agree that the Traveler in both posters has not sustained any damage from Rasputin. Thus, it is the past that we will be playing presumably. Or we finally fixed the Traveler with all those Spin Metals in the Cosomodrome.

The picture shows a lot of destruction on the ground. My personal theory is the cabal are showing up and will level the tower and surrounding city. This would be a plausible explanation for our guardians continuing the story without any gear.

Also the mega bloks (I know, how strange) toys also allude to this, since there's a set with the description reading, "Zavala fighting off Cabal after the tower is attacked.

Well we know the guardians are immortal, personally I want them to jump us a few hundred years into the future. We've secured Mars, Mercury, Venus and Earth and are now pushing into the outer solar system. That'd be badass. But I could definitely see them doing some wierd time loop with the vex.

The vex bring us back to a prequel? Was it the wastes in the beta with the prince? I don't remember... maybe he crashed on earth and we're getting the original D1!?[spoiler][/spoiler]
