Just remember what we learned from Destiny 1.
What they show in the trailers is not the game we'll be getting.

Just remember what Bungie learnt from Destiny 1 and it's mistakes. This game has some absolutely huge potential with an already massive audience and community behind it

Here's the thing though. I really think they learned from the false advertising. All those things that we saw in the developer videos and trailers were released a year or more before the final game actually came out. Destiny 2 is months away, and all we've gotten was a picture. I think everything that we see in the trailers coming forward will be in the released game, because they're going to show us the trailers way closer to the game's release than they did with Destiny 1.

I have to admit, we got what was in the trailers and nothing more. It was just presented and scripted so looked more epic. We didn't know we would only do that what was shown in a never ending circle. lol

I really hope they don't get pre order sales that are really high. I want people to wait and see this time. See if they learned what made pve so good in y1. Keep all the good things but stop the nerfs. I loved changes but i detest the nerfs that f'd over pve to cater to pvp and trials players. Made it far less fun. *NOT saying i want y1 grind for stupid materials and no app to transfer items, i just want the good changes kept and the dumb sandbox stuff kept at bay. I hope they learn. If not? Well, i'm a nobody engineer from the midwest. They don't NEED my money but it adds up.

That was true for Destiny 1, no doubt. The E3 trailer was promising but after being hit with delays, they ended up with a product that didnt look the same. If there are no delays for Destiny 2 and the September release is kept, I think we can expect what we see.
