As another member said: pvp was meant to be a practice area to get better. That was it. It was never and should NEVER have dictated a single nerf that crossed over into pve. PvP, along with a sandbox team lead by Weisnewski, really hurt pve fun factor. It got so bad that a lot just stopped playing pve endgame. Rewards were bad and things were getting nerfed left and right ..... ammo nerfs?? I mean, good lord it has gotten out of control!

It does

to some extent. There's too much focus on PvP. Pvp should be a side mode.

I think Bungie could capitalize on just having PvP being it's own seperate game. If you want to talk about keeping the two apart. It would guarantee buffs and nerfs would be separate. As much as the player base doesn't want to spend extra money in general, this could solve a lot of issues as a whole. Players who don't want to PvP just buy the main game without PvP. Those who just want to PvP buy Destiny's Crucible without having to have the main game...it's a thought.
