We were promised more vault space later on in RoI
And content was locked away on disk lol

No, they did not promise it. One of the designers said; We ~may~ have more solutions to vault space problems in the future.
-
umm... http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/08/17/gamescom-2016-bungie-promises-destiny-rise-of-iron-vault-space-improvements
-
You only just proved me right? Nice job? It was mentioned (and taken as a promise for some reason) that there would be improvements to make space more manageable. They have delivered on those mentions, but not in the form of actually increasing Vault Space - which there are a lot of technical limitations stopping this from happening. They added four new Kiosks since Rise of Iron that allow you to remove things from your Vault and have them stored in an artificial Vault.
-
Kiosks aren't improvement. They're glorified trash cans.
-
How are the items within a Kiosk any different than having those items stored in your vault? Disregarding the light difference for weapons/armour.
-
They promised more creative ways to "make" more vault space, by making you delete items from it and storing it in kiosks. But still, it's not enough.
-
Agreed
-
Yea it's still Roi? And will be till Destiny 2 comes, and stop with the locked away content on disc cuz it's not true.
-
The content was there on disc... it was just incomplete. Players have been able to get into the areas that were featured in HoW since Vanilla Destiny, like the room of captains in the cosmodrome where you could actually fight some of the enemies before the DLC, and the last mission area where you fight Skolas on Venus.
-
They just said there would be no more vault space. Which means they lied. Locked content on disc is true
-
No, locked content wasn't true. You're an absolute imbecile, and have no comprehensible understanding of what was going on. Destiny was overhauled a year before release, basically reworked from the ground up, and rushed in only a year to meet the September 8th deadline for Activision. Because of this, there were a lot of "locked" areas on Map(s) in the game, including Cosmodrome and more. But, just because the areas of the Map(s) were accessible does not mean that the content and inner mechanical workings of those areas are loaded, on the disk or properly configured to work / activate quests, give rewards etc. Which means there was no "locked content", just areas of the map that were previously used in Destiny before the overhaul.
-
Huh, never thought of it that way. I'm not gonna lie I was one of the locked content guys but after reading this, it makes a little more sense now. Thanks for the info :)
-
Could we go there without glitching? No. Locked content.
-
Such an articulate counter argument, just like in Year One - when defeated the imbeciles who believe debunked information just use simple words and repeated phrases to try to defend themselves.
