Let's discuss Borderlands 3
Hey what's going on!
Well, some good person on these forums posted the unreal 4 demo using borderlands as the back drop. At the same time I watched this my wife and I decided to do a completion run through on borderlands 2 and now It has me thinking about the new game. (And a little hyped)
What do we want to see for Borderlands3, and what don't you want to see?
Like "slag ". I'm on the fence about slag. Not really sure if I want it to return to the game.
I liked cryo in TPS. Love to see that.
More vehicles would be cool. How about our own buzzard?
I would like to have farmable bosses like #2
I would like to see it set up the same way with missions and side missions.
And to top it off....I would love to actually hear some news at this years E3.
What's some of your thoughts? What do you like to see? Any predictions you would like to give?
Edit: it's been a good discussion so far. Let me throw you another thing to chew on.....digi peak and op runs....I liked it even though I'd get pissed a lot. The idea of it is cool. Get through the course and graduate to OP2 and on and on. What do you guys think? Would you like to see this again?

I never felt bad for duping weapons because it was always stupid killing a raid boss for a weapon you want to spawn for just you. Do what Diablo does assign loot to different players and each player should get any legendaries another does.

3 RepliesI don't want to see anything from TPS in Borderlands 3. Just let TPS be forgotten. What I want to see? Damn, just more of everything. They improved on 1 beautifully with 2, if they continue that progression 3 will be brilliant

Ok i used it, but kinda broke the game. trading yes duping no. no tokens like torgue tokens, that was a pain in the ass. and no power levelling. also the a bigger vault to be able to transfer more weapons between characters. Oh and make the weapons a little less haphazard, a lot of the time you could hip fire everything but a sniper, the gun play realism of destiny if replicated in some way would be awesome

Whoever voice acted Handsome Jack, keep him on. Dude is brilliant. More Moxxi. More Moxxi is never a bad thing. Not fussed either way RE Slag, Cryo etc. More insane weapons, and carry on not caring about stupendously strong guns. Maybe throw in some bigger set pieces? Having to cut your way through an all out war for example. Maybe Hyperion vs a resurgent Atlas?

4 RepliesI hope they keep characters from TFTB they were all super cool. I liked the idea of going to war like they were talking about at the end of TPS. Game is shaping up to be great.

I want soul bound loot (for multiplayer) and legendaries/pearlescent/whatever they do (top tier unique items basically) not to be rolled. I understand things like e tech, purple, blue, but I just hated in bl2 farming a single enemy for a rare item with a specific roll.

I think it would be cool to be a more open world, explore vaults type of game. Chase loot like the games have always been. The original Borderlands story is kind of finished. So, I'd like to be able to run around explore the vast amount of vaults and kill ultra badass monsters. Also in the Pre-Sequel, our characters interacted with other characters and the story a lot. I hope Borderlands 3 continues on that.

3 RepliesI'd like to see more vehicles, maybe a bit variety in the guns(I got really tired of the same green shotgun with a yellow checkered pattern and explosive rounds), different enemies maybe more wild life? (fighting gun loaders and bloodshots is kinda repetive), also different abilities.

2 RepliesI don't want Legendaries to show up as easily as they did in Pre-Sequel. I want mostly new legendaries, not how Pre-Sequel changed some names or changed the element. It's okay to have remakes, just not have the remakes be most of the loot pool. I want heads and skins, but I'd also like outfits, which change the whole outfit. I would like Slag and Cryo to return, but they aren't necessary. Maybe a couple legendary and unique lasers, but don't make a ton of lasers as that seems more like a Moon kinda thing. I want more than 1 DLC. I would like Seraph weapons to return. I would like loot midgets and other similar things to return. I would like farmable bosses. (Borderlands 2) And something, I wouldn't mind: When you beat Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode, a collection booth is opened up. You can store one of each unique, legendary, pearlescent, and possibly seraph weapon in it. That way you don't have to have 6 characters with fully maxed out vault space and backpack just because you get bored and want to collect everything. I have other things I would like, but I haven't played in awhile, so my memory of disliking things in Pre-Sequel is a bit shoddy right now.
