Other than my family's: The Top of The Hub in Boston is one of my favorites. The service is typically average, but the food is great and the view is unbeatable. For anyone visiting Boston anytime soon, it's at the top of the Prudential Center. There's also a wonderful shopping center right across the street. There's a lot of little hole-in-the-walls in Boston though, so it's just impossible to really just have one. Capital Grille in Providence is also splendid. Amazing wine selection, top notch service, and excellent food. Never left unhappy. Same with Flemings and Hemenway's. Closer to the beach, the best places are often the little shacks with locally caught product. But if you're in Rhode Island and you're looking for a nice dinner by the ocean, you can never go wrong with the Coast Guard House in Narragansett. If you're in Newport, The Mooring and Castle Hill Inn are top notch.
