Want to know why there are so many political threads? Because that's what gets replies. I've made a bunch of threads about sports, music, technology, etc. But they quickly fall off the first few pages and don't get many replies. Why post threads that people don't want to talk about?

We do, and its drowned out by users like Mad Max, Doob, UnclePeedee, and Steg because they spam politics and shitposts. When they're quiet or banned, off-topic is actually a decent place to be.

Right, because the 100th post about transgender people is "unique". The 100th post about "the violent left" is "unique." The 100th post about Trump is "unique." The 100th post about Islam is "unique." I all for political posts, I just wouldn't a call them "unique." It's all still an echo chamber of either side.
