Abandoned on the planet "Eden", the protagonists must fight gigantic indigenous creatures and hostile human bandits for control of the planet's principal resource: T-Eng. This is supposed to be the spiritual successor to Capcom's last-gen series Lost Planet. It sounds like this one will involve more survival and perhaps some base-building too (synopsis includes the phrase "protect your outpost"). I will never not refer to the resource as "Tang". [url=http://imgur.com/eA3IIfx.jpg]KNIGHTS OF AEGIS[/url] The third title is going to be set in '70s New York and is going to involve an organization (that would be the eponymous knights) whose primary task is to do battle with the local supernatural fauna who calls NYC home. The player will need to make use of both modern firearms and ancient magic in order to quell whatever conflict the plot exposition will introduce. It uses the phrase "dual-wielding" but in reference to magic powers, so I can't tell whether it will ripoff Bioshock or The Darkness more. In fact the source says "the darkness" at least twice in the summary so I don't think I'd be too surprised if Top Cow Productions issues a cease and desist. Do these premises sound appealing? Is their dubious originality that big of a deal? I'm skeptical (in case you couldn't tell), but I like video games so I want to see what's on the way.
