For those of you trying to avoid spoilers for Mass Effect Andromeda, now is the time to go dark.
Today at 2pm EST (6pm GMT), The media Embargo will be lifted. This means that every news site and reviewer will be releasing a ton of MEA content that they have been holding for weeks. With this flood will be a lot of major spoilers for the game.
If you wish to remain unspoiled for the 21st (or 16th), then you may want to avoid YouTube, twitch and other big gaming sites, including these forums. If you don't care or are interest in the multiplayer, streams start as soon as the embargo is lifted. Lots of videos are already Being released (without spoilers).

This game sucks hard nipples. Glad I did not preorder

First impressions aren't good.

Anybody have any info on when it will launch on ea access? It says it launches tomorrow, but I'm wondering if that's gonna be at midnight tonight, or some time tomorrow.
-
hopefully that means more multiplayer footage.
-
Probably gonna pick it up. I just hope that the world isn't the sterile, monotonous mess that Dragon Age: Inquisition was. Dragon fights and the Main Quest were great, but this low effort mmo fetch questing is a major bummer.

I've seen two first impression "reviews". One I didn't recognize, the other was Kotaku. The one I didn't recognize barated almost every aspect of what he'd seen. Said the dialogue is dull, terribly written/scripted, characters are lifeless, mechanics are unnecessarily complicated and overwhelming or simply lacking, and that manner of things. The only thing he didn't complain about was the combat, which he basically described as "any other 3rd-person RPG combat, but passably decent". Kotaku said (almost) the exact opposite. Believable dialogue, lively characters that are well written, good combat, etcetera etcetera. Both reviewers, however, admitted that the game kind of throws a lot towards you at the start in terms of... idk, it was either abilities or mechanics or something like. Kotaku was much more... tolerant of it however. Personally I mostly ignored the first guy as he seemed to be the type of person who nitpicks every tiny fùcking detail in a game without even noticing the positives. I trust Kotaku; at least more so than most other gaming websites. Their leaks are almost always accurate and their reviews usually are as well, in my experience. I believe wholeheartedly I'm going to love every little pixel of Andromeda regardless.

Not seeing any reviews, or much of anything new for that matter. I've looked into it and it seems the actual review embargo lifts Monday, March 20 at 9am est.

I just found out about this game today, I only watched a gameplay video and from the little I've seen, I liked it ( I think it was ign playing with the soldier class or whatever ) I know next to nothing about this game but I'm wondering if it's worth it, have any opinion/ thoughts on it? ( I never played a mass effect game )

Edited by Tartan 118: 3/14/2017 4:25:09 PMReviews? I'm not going to buy the game, but I understand it's one of the biggest multiplat releases of the year. Alongside RDRedemption 2 and arguably Destiny 2. Review embargo lifts on Monday. Day before launch. Vaguely worrying.

Spoiler: someone dies.
-
I've checked out some character customization videos and watched a bit of the gameplay. 10 hours isn't going be enough time for early access.
-
Never played one, Still unsure
-
YouTube is full of live streams

Yeah sucks that PS doesn't get EA access then I wouldn't have to worry too much tomorrow
