Just curious what the Bungie community thinks of Sticky Grenades. Personally, I think they suck and shouldn't be a part of the game. They are the ultimate noob weapon that gets abused all the time. I constantly get the beat on someone in a gunfight who just before they die throws up a prayer and gets the kill. If not that scenario, then you get the clown who pops around a corner, throws the stick and runs for life. They are cancer to the game and should either not stick, or not be one shot kills.

Stop being so predictable than meat, it's an easy adjustment but you don't think when you play so you get beat by it. If you dodge it your opponent is screwed. It takes skill to stick people bro you act like anybody can just throw it anywhere and it will stick shut up stop crying

I think they need to be left alone. I'm going to agree with logan on the issue. If you seem to be getting stuck around corners it was mostly due to lag. It happens with every weapon or ability. As a matter of fact I got a picture of one of my deaths. My ghost was clearly around the corner in cover but you can see where the guy that killed me was. But where I died didn't make sense because I was clearly out of the guy's line of sight. I got killed by mida. Now I can go on a rant about how mida should be nerfed or I could realize that what was happening on my screen wasn't exactly happening on the other guy's because of lag. I've used sticky grenades plenty of times against the shotgun warriors and shoulder charge warriors plenty of times in the previous metas and I know that there is a magnetism but it's not as great as it's being made out to be. If it was the case then ALL of my encounters with shotgun and shoulder charge warriors would have ended in a win. But they do miss. They DO have moments where they should stick but don't. They are balanced I think. And let's say hypothetically that the tracking is ridiculous. Bungie has never nerfed things slightly. All stickies will end up being nerfed into the ground. Sunsinger will almost completely useless in pvp. And with special ammo gone there'll be another ability that'll be complained about because most of the counters will be useless. Shoulder charge could make a bigger comeback.

Uninstall the game.
-
They wouldn't be used if firebolts got buffed
-
They don't track. They are hitscan. If you cross hair your target and throw the grenade, you hitscan your target and the grenade "follows" the movement during its travel time. This will look exaggerated to other players due to lag. They do not track and you actually have to aim. And also reported for comparing a video game to a disease that kills millions.

Edited by Falcochio1706: 3/20/2017 3:22:19 PMIf you think about it, the sub classes that have sticking grenades tend to have abilities that aren't very strong such that I see them being used to bump up the strength of the sub class they are in. (When I say abilities I mean the sub class perks like cauterize, gunslinger's trance, electrostatic mind, etc) Yes I do find frustrating but that doesn't necessarily mean they need to be nerfed.

Enough with the nerfs. Either quit your whining or find something else to play and leave what's left of this game in tact for those of us left that still enjoy it.

They have always and continue to be fine. Ppl need to learn player awarness and range. Played since launch never had one problem with them. Ever
-
No it's true they are cancer to the game. If you must have it in Destiny, then make them behave like Halo's plasma grenades and actually, y'know, require SKILL to hit the player directly before they attach much like tripmines used to be (should never have been nerfed...uncalled for to ruin that grenade). Tracking ONE HIT KILL sticky grenades are the dumbest thing I have ever seen in any game.

the problems i have with them is when you move out the way of them and see them go passed you but they still latch on to you that is bull. or someone throws one lands on the ground just in front of you then you move forward slightly and it latches on to you, that needs to stop.
-
What a crock. This thing is so overblown and ridiculous. It's just players running out of things to whine about. I tried using them last night. Sure, the magnetism is great.......when it works. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. You still have to get the grenade within close proximity for it to track. I threw one right at a spark runner last night and "whoooosh", it flew right past him. Happened every time in that match and I got zero kills with grenades.

The only reason I can think it does track is because of the AI they are made to combat. To a smaller extent the mobility players in PvP have as well. Regardless it is a terribly forgiving thing in PvP for a generous reward and for that it should be dealt with. Grenades in general suffer form this. As for the sticky make them not track and if necessary just increase their damage to compensate for that loss. Be that by a flat number increase or blast radius. Bungie needs to tone down the magnetism , on all stickies . They shouldn't be so easy to use around corners , on between doors or as panic stickies. Agree 💯percent.
-
Idgaf I'm using them every chance I get, you put away the sidearm and handcannons and I'll consider switching grenades..
-
If you remove tracking from sticky grenades, then all throwing arms should be the same.......
-
They are fine. There is nothing in the game that hasn't been nerfed time and again including sticky nades. You know what here is the deal you will likely die if you enter the crucible if that is something that bothers you deeply pve might be the answer to all your cares. Throwing around the cancer like that is also the product of a weak mind just saying.

Edited by iPatrikolby: 3/10/2017 6:31:35 PMThey've been around since day one and now they need to be out of the game? Another nerf request from the peanut gallery. There'd literally going be nothing left if you weaklings got your way. Maybe you need to be out of the game if you can't handle a grenade killing you once or twice in a game. JUST BECAUSE IT KILLS YOU DONT MEAN IT NEEDS TO GO LOSERS. As for being being more skilled that's just garbage. How do you know? Cause your so MLG that any one you face is by definition a scrub? How about you use some of that skill to not get stuck. Now gfy. Another nerf request. Smh.

So sunsinger used firebolt, those were nerfed, so we switched to stickies, u brought this upon yourself, if u nerf stickies be prepared to feel the wrath of an entire map covered in vf solar nade that last 12 seconds each. Watch yourself
-
They shouldnt curve 90 degrees around corners(get rid of magnatism) if they fix that im good
-
I agree, sticky's are an annoyance. It's a easy kill for people that have no skill using weapons. Seen those nades do some magical tracking around corners.
-
Edited by Riv3rMon5ters: 3/9/2017 5:13:47 PMFirst of all they need to remove the tracking. Second of all if you stick someone and then you die- the grenade should only do about 50 damage. There is nothing more annoying and less skillful than a person who sticks you just as you kill them and it turns into a trade even though you clearly won the gunfight.
-
Sticky nades are fine. Been the exact same since year 1.
-
omfg. STOP COMPLAINING! People have used sticky nades since 2014!
-
They've been there since launch. Stop crying.
