Then you hear THAT sound. The sound of a super that is capable of ending your kill streak
I'm Tigerstorm, and I ask you. What is the most terrifying super to run into when playing any game mode.
Personally for me it's sunbreaker.
Reason:[spoiler]The Reign of sunbreaker terror still lingers in my mind. I always have to ask my team whenever I hear CHINK, I go "Was that ours?"
Sooner or later I get my answer. I either sigh in relief or scream at the top of my lungs as I try to escape. [/spoiler]
What's the most terrifying super?
EDIT: I opened up destiny app only to see replies from here. I was never this popular in middle school or even high school.
Kinda feels weird.

Once upon a time it was arcblade. Your only hope to survive was if they were on the opposite end of the map. If you saw them pop their super, you might as well sit down or use an appropriate emote Then came the Sunbreakers. Two to three minutes. That's how much time you had at the start of the match to get the lead in score. After that you would hear the terrible "chink" and all you could do was wait for the super(s) to run out. Good times. Good times (Lol, people who think Stormtrance is menacing. Shotgun melee or two people focusing their shots and that's that. You can easily take 'em out)

I doubt even 5% of the people on this forum has been close to a 15 kill streak. Probably not even a 10 lmao.

Idk. Running from a hammer is pretty facking scary. You know. Given they can throw like 7 grenades and horseshoes rockets with tracking at you

But the one super that you will never escape from is Stormtrance. When you hear that crack of thunder moving closer, you know your time is up. Stormtrance is eternal. It lives even when it is dead. You cannot do anything but run and delay the inevitable... Even Hammer Bros have their limits.

As a titan main it was so much fun using hammer of sol at the beginning of ttk before they nerfed it (as bungie has done to almost everything). Now it is stormcaller that just mops the floor clean.

Stormcaller is crazy,I've put 9 handcannon rounds in and they lose about 3% of health.

Titan with greaves is what I always run, and it's goldie for me. Storm trance is the easiest to kill with them.

Sun breaker titans are just stupid A man coming right at you covered in flames and holding a hammer of fire I think it's clear what wins

Edited by TheArtist: 3/10/2017 7:55:00 PMHoS 1.0. None of the roving supers in the game now are "terrifying"to face. Though they can be FRUSTRATING to face given what Bungie has done to special ammo. Hammer of Sol 1. 0 was terrifying to face because----with no cooldown to Cauterize-----the Titan was practically unkillable. The only way to reliably kill them back then were: 1. A panic super (though I tanked a FoH once). 2. Being team shot by two people with heavy ammo 3. Being team shot by FOUR people using primaries. Which is why---in pub games----as soon as you heard that super activate you'd see people scatter like cockroaches in a room where the light just got turned on.

I don't know why, even though stormcaller is probably the worst, the clang from Sunbreaker is just terrifying. You're always just like, "is that a friendly clang?" And then you wait for the first kill to pop up in the bottom left hand side to know whether or not to run for the hills lol.

Sunbreaker is awefully scary to see, but I feel as though Im the only person who gets kills with it, I can so easily dodge hammers, people need flameseeker of something. But bladedancer... oh lord... I feel like people think it is dispatched so easily, but no,no,no, arcblade is across the map one second, the next they have found their way right beside you, luckily you have a cluster of teammates to kill it, oh wait... nvm, the thing slashes thier souls immediately after your own...

My most feared roaming super is The Redbar Warrior. They are impervious to damage, they can teleport across the map and can kill you through walls with their back turned to you. Most Terrifying!
