Over the last year and a half we have tried to create a platform for the bnet community to speak to Bungie on a more personal level as they discuss their feeling for this game we all share this passion for and to hopefully help bridge the communication divide between community and developer.
Over the last 40 episodes we’ve had on 69 different members of the community and we have gotten to know the voices and the personalities behind the names we see each day on the forums. We’ve spoken to guardians from all over the world and they’ve shared their ideas on the game with us, with the community and with Cozmo, DeeJ and others at Bungie as well.
Bnet has a reputation for being the wild west of Destiny discussion and there is a perception that Bungie doesn’t listen to us here, but it’s not the case. They do listen, they do respond and we as a community have done a great deal to help shape this game over the last 2 ½ years.
Today we are happy to have a new bnet guest, stealthmanuk to talk Destiny, and we are also joined today by someone who writes about Destiny on a national level and has been linked extensively in posts since launch and are happy to welcome Paul Tassi of Forbes to the podcast.

The #destinytruthcast is a Bnet #feedback forum community podcast hosted by members of the community and featuring community members as guests.
The podcast was started to give everyday guardians a chance to do something they would probably never experience by being on a podcast and to give them the opportunity to have not just their thoughts, but their voices heard by Bungie as they discuss the game.
Beyond that, it's allowed us to get to know the voices and personalities behind the gamertags we see on the forums and get to know each other in a way not possible in anonymous words on a page.
We aren't here to endorse or tear down Bungie or Destiny, but to give honest, balanced talk on this game. Thank-you and maybe we'll see you on an episode.

Edited by Black_Widow503: 3/6/2017 10:24:38 PMAs for Trials I believe in hard work. I believe in working your way to the lighthouse. I believe in having exclusive loot once you make it there. What I don't believe in, is how Trials has now become exploitable with paid carries and account recoveries. I don't believe in Trials' "spirit of competition" when it has now been exploited, and some people can cheat their way to the lighthouse by buying a lag switcher or buying a carry. Where now, Trials has a black market where people make money off of Bungie's product when they weren't supposed to be. I believe in the spirit of competition and hard work as long as it's honorable and truthful and not exploited or cheated. Now that Trials has been exploited it needs looked at. Before all these exploits existed I would have been gung ho for Trials and what it stands for. I would have said leave Trials the -blam!- alone people! Now that isn't the case unfortunately and it sucks others have ruined what Trials of Osiris should stand for! When everywhere else in Destiny the game has had an exploited feature or cheated feature, Bungie was quick to fix it. Unlimited supers. LEFT Gjally behind because people wouldn't allow you into their fireteams without it. Now people don't allow you into their Trials fireteams without high Elo ratings. So why is Bungie still allowing Trials to be exploited by account recoveries and paid carries. Don't tell me there is nothing to be done. Don't tell me you can't think of any possible solution to keep Trials honorable and respectable. Going to the lighthouse house now represents dishonor and cheating. Working as intended? Bungie needs to fix it now so it can truly stand for something great, so that people that do make it there, can feel proud for their accomplishments. As of now if Trials just gets transferred over into D2 the way it is currently working, it's just going to get worse and worse for this franchise. I hate to say it, but it's the honest truth.
