ITB-Mk. 3 Compound Bow

"This bow is something any scout would want to have. Fires arrows that can force armor apart, freeze anything and make it brittle, and burn anything with napalm. The main beauty, is its stopping power and the interchangeable arrows." -General Thomas "Tommy" Cutter =========================== [b]The Interchangeable Tactical Bow Mark 3, or ITB Mrk 3, is one of the most versatile weapons used by Valkyrie soldiers. The weapon is based on the traditional bow design, using compound basics to increase stopping power. Due to the strength of Valkyrie soldiers, that stopping power is magnified in the weapons' incredibly strong bow design. The force and stopping power of fired arrows is roughly 490-530 feet per second. The bow can be folded up for easy storage, the arrows used collapse in on themselves by the shaft for wash storage as well. The arrows used in the bow are thus: [/b] [b]Tearsurge:[/b] an arrow fired using a sonic emitter, once stuck onto an object, the arrowhead sonic well sucks in and then forces anything in the blast radius out, ripping apart most forms of armor and destroying or denting objects. The Tearsurge arrows are useful against armored targets or other objects or items. [b]"Ghost" Arrows:[/b] using an explosive canister near the head, Ghost arrows contain a highly volatile chemical liquid that, upon exposure to heat, will rapidly expand and freeze anything to an estimated -100 C, although the effect wears off after roughly five seconds. The arrows are useful when armor needs to be shattered or penetrated, or to destroy other items. [b]Napalm Arrows:[/b] following traditional fire arrows but with a new twist, napalm arrows explode in an intensely painful and burning liquid that melts most materials and metals. Useful against weaker metals or over time, stronger ones. Flesh and organic matter is mostly effected. [b]"Zap" Arrows:[/b] firing an arrow that explodes in roughly 10000 volts of electricity, "Zap" arrows are rightly named for their effect on machinery and organic matter. Mostly effective against machines, and stopping the hearts of living things. [b]Plasma Tipped:[/b] The standard issue arrow, the plasma edges of the head allow it to penetrate armor and thicker metals, coupled with the sheer stopping power of the bow, it becomes a formidable opponent. [b]Other Info:[/b] Using certain arrows, traps can be setup, activated by the press of a button on the bow.
