I don't and probably won't be getting one until May.
If you do then please tell us about your experience so far. What do you like? What do you not like?

Unfortunately I do not yet have one. I'll have to wait for them to be restocked somewhere.
-
I do I just finished BoTW, not gonna lie I don't have much to do now on my Switch till Mario Kart 8 comes out next month ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
The thing that blows my mind is that most people buying Switch already have Wii U, but somehow their reasoning for buying Switch is the new Zelda game.
the new Zelda game plays smoother on Wii U
-
I now have the money... Stores now no longer have the console :D
-
I don't have a Switch and probably never get one, because I heard so many compliances that it's just 50/50 that your Switch doesn't suck. List of things I heard: The dock is just hard plastic so it can scratch your screen. Disconnects when you controller is few feet away from the Switch. Those safety strings if you put them wrong they never click out. Lots of glitches when playing games.

I was so close.. Literally was walking to electronics, as the last one was being rung up..

Sigh, I haven't bought a Nintendo System since the Gamecube. It's actually moderately upsetting because I grew up on Nintendo consoles and love so many of the games. However, I didn't want to swing my arms around to play the Wii and I don't like what they're doing with the Switch. Nintendo is trying (and has been since the Wii) too hard to "innovate" rather than just putting out a solid system.
-
The Zelda game looks cool, but it's the same issue that I had with a Wii, I'm not gonna buy a console for just 1 game
-
It's like people are paying $400 for the Zelda game and that doesn't make sense. There is nothing else to play and even when they release more there are what like 2 or 3 titles to maybe get excited about? I'm not getting burned by Nintendo again
-
I have better things to spend my money on. I'll buy a Switch when it actually has a game lineup.

Edited by w3rdblader: 3/6/2017 3:27:37 PMJust bought Zelda on Wii U. Find the switch to be a joke. In order to do what they do in the commercials you would have to spend 200-300$ extra on peripherals. Not to mention the fact that their commercials show people playing in situations that are impossible to actually play(4 people in a classroom, 3 on pro controllers with no screen and 1 on the portable screen)...

No. Too much of an investment with very little return at the moment. Maybe this holiday, or whenever octopath traveler us released. Love zelda, but not worth getting a whole new console for something i can already play on the wiiu. And from what I hear and seen, it don't run that mich better on the switch. Does look prettier though.

Thinking about buying a wii u to play just more than botw. Anyone got a Wii U that can tell me if it's worth getting?
-
I was gonna get one but decided to wait till e3 to see what's up
-
I will eventually get one for the nintendo exclusive games when they eventually come out lack of games on launch meant i didnt buy one. I fell for that with xbox 1 they released with nothing so i will wait this time but zelda looks amazing
-
Want it, but I've never played Zelda and don't want to buy it for only one game
-
Have it and have dumped like 6 hours a day into zelda lmao. Help me
-
I'm getting xbox game pass as soon as it's available so even if I had got a switch it wouldn't ever be powered on.

I honestly really like it. Lost of people shit on it for the hardware specs but Zelda looks and runs fine. The joy con holder thing feels awkward at first but after a few minuets it was fine for me. youll probably at least want the charging grip as it half the price of the pro controller if youre short on cash. After playing all weekend from friday night to sunday night I finaly had to charge the joy cons after about 40 hours of use. I havent taken it anywhere so I cant really speak for that. The UI is totally streamlined and very easy to navigate. For the most part it feels like a quality piece of hardware. Alot of people will say Zelda is the only game worth getting, not true. Shovel Knight ($25) and the specter knight prequel ($10) are both really fun and IMO worth it if you've never played shovel knight before. Theres also a racing game similar to F-Zero GX thats pretty cool ($20? cant remember) . I dont have bomberman or 1 2 switch, tho the latter is a collection of flimsy tech demo stuff not worth $50 IMO. Mario kart 8 deluxe releases april 28 and although its basically a "remaster" if you wanna call it that of the wii u MK8 it does include the previous dlcs and some new stuff as well. Ill be picking that up for sure. If you have the money for it and a game or two Id definitely recommend picking one up. Tho it may pay off to wait for a price drop and a larger game library before buying one. Also the online service is free for the first 6 months or so. I dont know how much that service will cost per month/year so that may factor into your decision. Something I was also disappointed with is I couldnt find any Neflix or youtube app.

Next years updated console
-
I mainly want it for Mario Odyssey. Looks so damn fun
-
The shitty fps drops are annoying. Zelda runs like shit when it's docked, unfortunately.

Edited by Scoose_McGoose: 3/6/2017 5:53:46 PMThe concept is great, and it really works. I love grabbing the console and taking BoTW in bed with me so I can finish one last Shrine before calling it a night. It's just as good in portable mode as it is on TV, maybe even better. Plus propping it up with the kick stand and using the controllers separately is an interesting experience, too. I really enjoy it. Zelda is a fantastic game, and I'll be satisfied with that for a long time. I hope they get some more great games on it, too. Call of Duty would be great, because my friends and I could locally play if we met up somewhere. Stardew Valley is coming, so I guess I'll give it a try. We need Mario Galaxy 3, and I'll basically be set until the next console generation arrives. I'm considering buying 1-2 Switch so I can have something to do with my friends.

I have it and like it.
-
lol Nintendo needs to stop humping the dead horse hopefully this will be the last failed console they try to put out and just become a third party developer Xbox and PS4 can run Zelda better than one of the outdated consoles they keep dropping

Ordered mine 1 week ago. Getting it today. Can't wait
