Activation of runes on Omnigul Remastered strike

I have seen this video, anyone has noticed that?. It seems that in remastered strike of Omnigul a rune can be activated, not in normal strike, only in the Dawning version. Maybe nothing, or maybe something hidden...

Looks like the symbols that appear on the Rose of Corruption ornament for Thorn when firing/reloading.
