He is a clear demagogue and pushes for authoritarian autocracy by attempting to silence opposition, bully people he holds power over and invalidate criticism or watchdogs like the media, but dictator in the making would imply he can actually achieve that, which I very much doubt. I've learned not to underestimate the idiocy of large groups of people, but I still trust that the American people would not reach that level of incredible stupidity. Then again, they did elect Trump in the first place, so what do I know.
