I need tips on gameplay, heroes, mechanics, all that stuff. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks
I bought peacekeeper and I got to say, she can be quite powerful.
Okay, so the really big guys keep charging and stunning me, what do I do???
I found that I don really use revenge with peacekeeper. Anytime I find myself outnumbered, I back off or just run lol
Ok, I got gud with peacekeeper, just haven't mastered her yet. I'm still strugglin with cancels, I just find it hard to plan attacks while anticipating thier moves. One thing at a time for me lol

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 2/27/2017 5:22:30 PMHey! Good to see a new peacekeeper. I'm rep (rep is the same thing as prestige from call of duty) 3, and I have some tips for you. Your playstyle as a peacekeeper needs to change based on your opponent: Playing against another assassin- Other assassins just love to wait for you to attack and dodge left and right for a free light hit. To counter that playstyle, dodge at them, but don't attack. Wait for them to attempt to hit you and block their hit, and then counter attack. Use Light attacks for follow ups to interrupt any of their next actions and for some extra damage. Some people also forget you can combo a double heavy, so try that too if you attempt to attack first. Playing against heavy characters- Heavy types can either be free kills for the peacekeeper or your worst nightmare. I typically do the dash forward and heavy attack to test their reflexes. If it lands than I know they're an easy kill to me. I continue dodging and attacking until they learn, than I use light attacks. Light attacks will be your best friend for confusing the enemy. Against hybrids Keep your distance with these guys. Hybrids are different by the character, lawbringers you just need to counter guard breaks (if you need help with that go into the advanced tutorial and practice), nobushi's need you to play from a distance, if you go for the first hit on a nobushi it likely won't end well for you so use dodge attacks. Valkyrie depends on the person. Vanguards really depend on the player and their style. Just watch and adapt to their style.

Watch the videos on how to play them.

Literally practice makes you perfect. Also dont give up just because someone beats you. Try to find a character that you are comfortable with and grow from that.
-
Waste of steel you can play any hero for free buying them just let's you customize save all your steel for rep three that's when you get purple drops.
-
If you see a big guy running at you, dodge to the right or left. Their push should miss and give you a free couple light hits. Be careful as well, don't light attack the same spot unless you're guarenteed the second hit by the game's combo. Vary the hits accordingly.
-
If guys are charging you, dodge to the left or right. Then attack.
-
Learn to parry, some fights in multiplayer become trivial. When the other person goes for an attack their guard arrow will turn red, when it starts flashing hit the button for your heavy attack while your stance matches theirs and the attack will be deflected, they go off balance and lose a large chunk of stamina
-
You can play anyone without buying them. (Not so) pro tip.
-
Don't rely exclusively on PK's bleed. Be aggressive but manage your stamina. Be unpredictable, don't fall into a rut(mix moves from different stances) And most importantly, turn fight display off and get on my level
-
If you're playing peacekeeper dodge everything.
-
Watch the training videos on the class you want to play, and memorize the combos.

Other than practicing with different heroes and struggling against the AI until you slay them, I can provide a little fun fact: Quite a few light attacks can cancel out an enemy guard break attack.

Find the character that best fits your playstyle. Once you do, it will click and the game will feel really nice. For me personally that's the fat weeb and the salt inducing weeb manlady (Orochi).
