Does it take skill to use? Take out the ammo glitch, and the salt from getting killed by it. Does it take Skill to use?
Imo, the sights on that thing alone makes it hard to use. Not to mention the slow reloading (take away ammo glitch people) and animation when reloading. If you miss that head shot there is no way you are wining the gun fight if you are playing legitimately with this weapon. So I say
yes It does take skill to use, and I have respect for players who can use it with out the glitch. It sucks everything worth using is getting nerfed.
If someone would please submit video footage of the "not flinching" when using it (multiple takes please) I'd be most grateful.

The Bolt cancel, not reload cancel is and i quote not a glitch its been in every shooter ever created and it's not going away. So please stop calling it something is not.....

Edited by blade329: 2/24/2017 8:54:26 PMWhat they say: "Nerf NLB, it takes no skill to use!!!!" What they really mean: "I don't like this gun because it kills me. I'm trying to shame players into not using it by claiming it takes no skill."
-
Is this skill?
-
There is no glitch or exploit. Idk how many times i have to say this on nlb posts.
-
It takes skill, but It needs flinch
-
Well, if the no flinch issue is simply people imagining it, then there is no need to worry about the patch now is there.
-
Who cares. Can we have HCR put back on the mida.
-
The video footage you want is unattainable as it's the actual flinch that is missing from the gun - ALTHOUGH it has the animation of flinch it is NOT flinching. Bungie have been aware of this for ages.
-
It's as easy to use as any other sniper in the game it's just learning the scope, if you switch from Shortgaze to Eagle eye your going to have to learn the scope right? So it's the same with NLB the scope has a small learning curve. It is not the hardest weapon to use! Anyone who says that is just too fond of the gun and believes it takes skill.
-
No, you need to get used to the scope and that's it. NLB is more powerful then any other sniper at this point because of having no flinch when getting shot.
-
Get hand cannons as they were before. Increase the 5m range and get the 50% back. Remove the stupid aim assist. And only then look that NLB!
-
Maybe, but that was before every other sniper was better. No land is just like how universal remote was. But it's a primary so it has every negative effect it should, in the crucible. I personally don't find it as annoying because... well 1 its a sniper, and a primary. Only so many engagements you can get into and be successful. It's fairly easy to know what lanes are being sniped, and how to not challenge them, even if they are aggressive snipers.
my point is no land is good in 1v1 engagements, but can easily be shutdown by good team play.
Here is one of my clips. I could have gotten more but I ran out of storage. http://xboxclips.com/EPIC+ZENTO64/3a14f06a-7800-46a0-a272-a34da2bd4830

I think it takes skill, but I forgot to say I don't use the ammo glitch. I was never in the habit of using it so when I found out about it I wasn't in the habit anyway. :P I just get behind cover when reloading. Hence why it takes skill.
-
One the reload glitch isn't effective causes too much jamming, two they are fixing the unintentional flinch bug, and three they already stated they are fixing it stop with the posts about it we got other stuff that needs looked at.

Bump.
