I'm not going to vote because I don't think I have a 'favourite' but the subgenres I probably listen to most are avant-garde metal (death with unconventional riffs, styles and vocals - mainly Avatar), nu-metal and power metal. The latter I just this week got into through a band called Unleash the Archers.
