So people are saying things are O.P. Some weapons, like clever dragon and grasp of Malok were clearly overpowered, as they had scout range, hit like a hand cannon, and fired faster than an auto. Same with shotguns, since high rof autos got nerfed, the only counter mainly was sidearms. People say many exotics were overpowered, but that's the point of exotics isn't it? The highest quality gear in the game (formerly) should be "overpowered". But, in my definition of op, it means the gun is way too effective, and has no counters whatsoever. People have been saying things are op, whining so much on the forums or on streams, which gets them nerfed to the point where nobody wants to use them because they aren't meta, or are easily outgunned (Universal Remote, ish Truth, Thorn, Hawkmoon, The Last Word, Icebreaker, Gjallarhorn, etc....) All these weapons used to be very good, but now their exotic quality and feel is gone. The Last Word's exotic point is basically hip fire and hidden hand combined. Thorn's exotic perk does nothing for you, it keeps health regeneration for like, 2 seconds. Hawk moon's range and mag size were nerfed, so now even if you get a lucky shot out of the 13 mag size, you probably won't hit it. Meanwhile, guns like the 4th Horseman, Dregs Promise, Super Good Advice, Boolean Gemini, Patience and Time, etc... could desperately use a buff, or some tweak to make them more desirable, because I guarantee, most of these guns I just listed see almost no play in any activity. Because people keep complaining that exotics do their job, Bungie keeps nerfing the good ones while ignoring the bad ones, while instead, why don't you complain about the bad exotics so they can get buffed. Most exotics are in a good place as long as they haven't been nerfed, like Bad Juju, Monte Carlo, Plan C, Black Spindle, Dragon's Breath, Trespasser, MIDA, etc... To wrap up my rant, I'd just like to say a few more things. Just because you get killed by an exotic, doesn't mean it is overpowered. Almost every gun has a weakness, or counter. Instead of spending so much time trying to get it nerfed and complain, just enjoy the game, and let others enjoy it too. Thank you all, and have a great day!
