Do you think Guardians being able to revive takes away some of the impact of their death?

I'm mean from a Story perspective. I don't know why but this has always bothered me. Don't get me wrong, Guardians are super cool but when you know that even if they die they'll just come back makes them feel a little less cool in my eyes. I feel like it takes away the sense of danger when they fight. When a guardian dies permanently I'm just thinking to myself "How did you, an immortal, manage to -blam!- up so badly to the point where you died permanently?". I'm not saying you won't get the feels from their death, I'm just saying that having their ghost be able to revive them in most situation dulls their death a bit. Do give your reasoning for you choice. I would love to see some other perspective on this topic :) Edit: It seems most of you disagree, and provide some very interesting points. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

  • It's in fact one of my favorite plot devices in a video game, rather then magically respawning there is a plot mechanic to bring you back tied into the lore. Not only that but death and revival is a part of a gaurdians strategy, wether it's in the lore where a Titan purposefully died to then be revived and use a fist of havoc, or even ingame where a warlock charges out into battle dies and waits for an opportunity to self rez for an advantage.
