Get ready for the "Nerf Ice Breaker/Invective/Sidearms" posts
Because that is all everyone will use for specials in PvP after the totally unnecessary special ammo nerf.
Bungie is digging their own grave. D2 will be a well-deserved flop if they continue down this road.
Edit: Since a few people seem to think I am whining about this, know that I barely play Crucible and when I do, I use primaries and sidearms. I am simply stating the proven fact that when Bungie nerfs something, something else replaces the nerfed guns as the new meta, and then the community will start complaining about [i]that[/i].

2 RepliesRegenerating special ammo shouldn't happen in PvP. Ice Breaker during the Crota raid was great with regenerating ammo but in PvP it makes the special ammo nerf pointless. Just as we will have Ice Breaker replace 1k stare for snipers, so will Invective replace matador for shottie players. I'm also guessing that we will start to see a lot more NLB and Universal Remote kills. Ammo isn't the problem as much as the Aim Assist, Accuracy and Jug nerfs. This patch should differentiate the good players from the crutch players. The sign of a good shottie/sniper player is that when they switch to a primary they still melt you.
