And believe me i have tried these guns. I don't enjoy using these guns because in my opinion, they require little skill, compared to other guns. Shotguns are just aim in general direction and pull the trigger as many times as you possibly can, and the clever is just spam your shots at someone until you kill them. I am also mad about this new update for various reasons. My main thing is that they are making us LOOSE special when we die. do we really NEED less special than we had before???? I know that its just to prevent so many shotgunners, but you don't have to sh*t on snipers too. Snipers are in a bad spot right now, and bungie isn't doing ANYTHING about it, besides reducing flinch. Everything else is harming snipers. My other problem with this update is the subclass updates. the juggernaut thing I'm fine with, and i use it myself don't get me wrong, i understand why they're doing that. My bigger problem is their nerfs to the hunters. They ended up nerfing the HEATH REGEN instead of SKIP GRENADES. I mean what the -Blam!- were you thinking??? I mean its kind of obvious people are using things like skips and axions isn't it? come on... I also feel that they are nerfing some things too hard and buffing others too little. like i said, no buffs to snipers, and I've heard plenty of people say they need to buff them. And then I see them destroy the clever dragon, yes i am defending it, but they are nerfing the mag size. all my clever dragons have a 24 mag size. That runs out pretty fast, and if they nerf it even more, I feel that its going to be really hard to use. Does anyone see what I'm talking about? You LOOSE special ammo when you die? It would make more sense if I lost (lose) special ammo. If i LOOSE it, it's either flying off in all directions, or landing on the ground in a random pile. As for the "meta", you can use anything currently. I'll mess around with an ill will, or cryptic dragon and do well, even better than my meta guns sometimes. Use what you enjoy, and have fun. Don't worry about what everyone else uses. You'll do better playing with what you like more than using something just cause it's "meta", if you don't enjoy it. I feel snipers are just fine where they are at. I don't feel you should be able to use snipers as a primary, or snipe someone while you're getting shot in the face. Shotguns are fine too, maybe just a little bit inconsistent. A shotgunner should not be able to run 30 yards while being shot to get a one hit kill on you, though. The real problem in the game is that primaries are underpowered and Bungie is addressing the issue of people using secondaries more than primaries in the wrong way. All they needed to do was simply buff primaries. Taking away special ammo, while at the same time nerfing certain primaries will not fix the problems in this game, it just creates new ones, and makes people feel pushed towards using things they don't like.
