A Defender Bubble (Ward of Dawn) is many things. It's a weapon. It's a blessing. It's armor. Playing as a defender, this super is made for playmaking and establishing an area of control. Use your bubble in sticky situations if you need cover, are claiming heavy ammo for your team, are capturing B zone, or are getting that flag in Trials. There are 3 grenades you can use, and three main super perks you can use. ( 1 each ) First, the grenades: Magnetic Grenade - a sticky grenade that detonates twice. Coming out of your bubble, throwing this, and getting back inside can yield great results, but is risky. Recommended for PvE. Spike Grenade - a grenade that shoots out a spike of void light. (PvP) This thing shreds health and is great for area denial for a short time. If you land it on top of someone, they are done. (most likely) Suppression Grenade - a grenade that disables your enemies abilities for a short bit. This one is my personal favorite for PvP, as you can suppress supers and disable grenades. If there is a Stormcaller in front of you? Throw one and watch their super go away. This grenade does take some skill to master, so practice in mayhem. (PvP) And now for the three main super perks: Armor of Light - gives you an insane amount of shield inside your bubble. You can survive rocket launchers. Most times if you get mobbed by people, throw a grenade and get out. Blessing of Light - gives you a shield outside of your bubble Definitely not as strong as as AoL's shield, but you can go outside your bubble Weapons of Light - self explanatory This gives you a substantial weapons buff. Use for PvE. PLAYING AGAINST A DEFENDER -Watch out for grenades -NEVER EVER EVER GO INSIDE THE BUBBLE - Stay out of shotgun range (most defenders use shotguns) -Backpedal if they rush you -Don't go inside the bubble
