Assuming you weren't joking (I hope you were), then I disagree vehemently. Shadowshot remains one of the weakest supers in PvP. I will explain why. For one, just in terms of a kill weapon, shadowshot is inferior to almost every other super (i.e., everything other than bubble and maybe self-rez)- period. It has the windup of Nova Bomb without the splash damage. It has a non-hitscan projectile that is likely to hit tiny corners/ledges/wall/debris, etc instead of the intended target. The damage resistance buff it offers during the windup is hardly anything, making the floating, glowing nightstalker an easy target. To top it all off, if an opponent has an over shield (from rez for instance) they can tank a shot from it AND LIVE. Now, hopefully I've convinced you that it isn't a very effective offensive super. SO, let's talk about it for use as an anti-super super. The sad truth is that shadowshot is only really effective against a few supers. It does nothing to counter smash or nova bomb. Once you see an opponent entering either of these supers it is too late - you will either die before your shadow shot goes off, or else they will miss and then you didn't have to use your shadowshot anyway. Shadowshot is only slightly less useless against golden gun. If you know what angle someone is coming from, putting a shot against a wall can block the goldengun user from entering/stopping line of sight. So, in those situations, the super is a draw. In every other situation though, golden gun wins every time. If you spot someone with goldengun active and you try to bring them down, chances are that while you're floating in the air, any half decent player with a golden gun will have killed you long before your windup animation has finished. Minimally effective: Storm trance and arcblade. Agaisnt these two supers, shadowshot CAN shut them down, but only if you have sufficient warning that they're coming, and sufficient distance to shoot your arrow into the ground between you and them. Aiming for an arcblade or a stormcaller mid-super is like throwing an arrow away - you'll more than likely miss due to their speed/teleporting and then your arrow will be too far away to lock them down. Them 1, you 0. Moderately effective: Against hammers, the fight is pretty fair. A well placed hammer will kill you, but hammers are harder to throw at a target in midair - so (for once) the floating actually helps the shadowshot user. Effective: Shadowshot is an effective counter to self-rez. Other category: This should go without saying, but while it does nothing to penetrate bubble, it does make people in said bubble think twice about leaving it. In such situations, its a draw until the shadowshot runs out (its duration is much shorter). Tldr: shadowshot is one of the weakest supers in game (maybe just ahead of bubble and self-rez). The only reason it doesn't need a buff is because nightstalkers have good neutral game abilities - so they take a penalty on super.

Allow it to cancel supers, but each super a tether cancels should reduce the duration of the tether significantly.

Edited by Marno: 2/4/2017 4:13:28 AMIt doesn't always OHK. And I've been supered even though they was tethered. It needs a buff not a nerf.

Out of curiosity, how many different types of supers can it really cancel versus delay? For example, if one is already caught in a shadow shot then it is my understanding that supers can not be started until the shadow is over so this is technically not a cancel (where one loses their super until it regen's again. I can only think of four that I have seen effectively canceled by shadowshot: 1. Gunslinger 2. Blade dancer 3. Stormcaller 4. Hammer of Sols. Also how many times are there multiple supers out at once anyway? Also, once the Shadowshot is produced it is static, everyone knows where it is. The Shadowshot is the Hunter's only Area of Effect super. Would you make the complaint that a Titan Striker should only be able to kill one guardian using a super within their strike area (effectively canceling their super). Same goes for a stormcaller or Hammer of Sols? As far as I know when they kill a Gunslinger or Blade Dancer their super time does not decrease either.
