please don't let gothalion EVER host bungie bounty again
i get that he wants to do it his way, and not do a countdown
but he's trashing EVERYONE, he's been defending his lack of a countdown for 20 minutes straight, and now his entire chat is toxic
he's the only streamer the entire event that hasn't done a countdown, and he KNOWS he is pissing everyone off, defending his actions, and making everything awful
it's not the worst that he's not doing a countdown, but he's treating everyone like trash, if a bungie employee was watching his stream right now, they would cut sponsorship, it's just awful, look for yourself

for those wondering what the countdown is, when bungie bounties stream, there is a delay
if you try to team up with him (or against him) by watching his stream exclusively, it will never happen; because if you team up when you see him team up, in real life he's already fighting a match
so they do a "countdown" via TEXT in the stream so everyone knows when to team up with the bungie bounty, today, Gothalion broke tradition and flat out refused to do so
not only did he refuse, he called his fans "crybabies" "meanies" "bullies" "trolls" while also telling them to "get over it" "have fun" "shut up" "do something else"
this guy is getting publicly sponsored and free advertisement on the official bungie site with the official bungie brand, this event wasn't done out of the good will of his heart on his own time, it was a business contract
i don't care either way, i want the emblem, i'm maxed grimoire, and don't care who i earn it from, but today was a travesty, *Gothalion's actions cannot go unnoticed, it was a complete dud to participate today, he bitched on stream for over an hour, and continued to do so even after the event was over

Hence, I think it's a stupid concept and would argue that the other streamers have done it the wrong way. 2. One would think that a "sponsored" person would endorse said company in whatever avenue they have at their disposal. These are nowhere to be found in Goth's stream or on his social media pages. Nor was the stream in question labeled as "sponsored" - the stream actually stated that he would play Zelda afterwards.

Was it a douche move not to do a count down? Maybe. Is he required to do one? No. The count downs are a courtesy. Not a requirement. Calm down and move on. It is only for an emblem.

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure I am understanding. So... we are actually supposed to care if some streamer did not use a countdown of some kind that nobody actually requires he do? Hm. Nope, still doesn't make sense.

I understand you're perspective, but at the same time is a countdown really necessary? Sure there's a delay on his stream, but just watch his stream if you wanna know when to queue. I was watching his stream and people were bashing him too on the no countdown and he had stated multiple times he wasn't doing one, so he probably got frustrated with people still asking and bashing him on it.

He wasn't denying anyone the emblems. They still got handed out to winning players. In fact, this was a good way for other parts of the Destiny community to get their hands on emblems. He did it differently - that's fine.

People will cry over anything. It's a digital emblem for a video game. A DIGITAL ENGRAM FOR A VIDEO GAME. While I'm not the hugest fan of Goth, I understand why he is the way he is sometimes because honestly, gamers are probably the most immature demographic of people out there since a lot of there self worth at times is determined by unearned self confidence. The kids will understand when they grow up, I don't doubt it. To all streamers, good or bad I just like to say thanks for serving this community with entertainment whether some people realize that there are options and it's not like tomorrow isn't another day. I sped through the whole thing and only watched when he was talking about the countdown or anything related to it. What he said wasn't anything to get mad about.[/spoiler] [spoiler]EssAndEmm he didn't talk about it for an hour. It was broken up about 6-7 times and for only a few minutes if that. In total time of him talking about it, it was maybe 15-20 min max. Kids on the stream kept bringing it up.[/spoiler]
