Before I get into this, I'm gonna warn you all that this post will piss a few of you off. There will be nerf talk. Please keep in mind the history of Bungie and nerfing specific weapons for overuse, and remember that this is all just opinion based.
Pretend everything I say that isn't a spoiler is coming from Deej
WEAPON BALANCE
Auto Rifles
Auto rifles can go anywhere...The smart thing would be to buff range and maybe mag size.
-50% increase to Damage Drop-off threshold across the board
-This will help bring ARs' in line with Hand cannons and Pulse rifles in terms of consistency at range.
Pulse Rifles
Pulse rifles need work but not much. Less range.
-25% reduction to damage drop-off threshold across the board. Pulse rifles are meant to be all around tools of war. Perfect at mid-range and viable at mid-long range. We feel that right now, Pulse rifles are too effective at long range, and High impact Pulses and scout rifles are being overlooked.
-Reducing range will prevent favoring high stability builds without destroying their usefulness. High impact Pulse rifles naturally have high range and will be virtually unaffected, making them AND scout rifles more popular options for ranged combat.
Hand Cannons
These F-ing things need work. I expect NOTHING from Bungie to fix them up, but here's hoping
-Mid impact hand cannons are the go-to for maximum damage at range. We want to promote diversity, so we've made a few tweaks to make other HC types stand out.
-We've reduced the max range cap of Mid to low impact Hand Cannons from 62 to 55. This will help High impact Hand cannons shine as the optimal choice for Mid-long ranged gunplay without limiting other classes.
-25% increase to stability and 10% range increase on all Low Impact Hand Cannons. This will help make this type of HC more consistent at dealing quick punishment at close range, and help it shine when dealing with aggressive enemies.
Scout rifles
Scout rifles are in a good place.
Shotguns
The changes to primaries IF IMPLEMENTED CORRECTLY should help counter them
High range High impact Shotguns are still the primary choice for Crucible. We like how they're performing, and would rather help other weapons shine through.
Sniper Rifles
-Snipers are in a good place, but we've been hearing a lot of complaints about one in particular:
No Land Beyond
-This gun has remained relatively unchanged, and we like it as it is. This rifle was a definite underdog during The Dark Below, and has been given a unique opportunity to shine.
Fusion Rifles
Nerf Fusion Rifles
Fusion rifles are in a good place.
Sidearms
Sidearms are in a good place.
Heavy Weapons
Heavy weapons are fine as is.
What do you guys think? I've really low balled things here but that's about what I expect. I would like bigger changes, especially to Auto Rifles.

I am crossing my fingers that the mag size on low impact Autos are restored.
