The Awoken ship dropped out of warp just beyond Venus' atmosphere. Avilon directed the ship through the clouds and into a massive swamp near a volcano. They were shaken around the cabin as the ship collided with the muck and slowly began to sink into it.
"Hmm," Harkon looked out of the windows. "I love the new paint job..." Harkon said as he looked at Avilon from over the chair.
"I'm ditching the ship. We're legging it from here," Avilon said as he looked up and punched the glass out of the cockpit.
"We're gonna take romantic walks on the Ishtar Coasts?" Harkon asked as he held his hands together beside his head.
"Shut up..." Avilon climbed out of the ship and jumped to the shore. Harkon was right behind him. It wasn't long before the swamp swallowed the ship, entirely submerging it.
"Nooo!!! It wasn't ready!!" Harkon dropped to his knees and grieved. Avilon shook his head and walked off.
Harkon jumped up to his feet and chased after the hunter. "I'd like my payment now."
"I'm sure my Kell will be more than willing to pay for your efforts..." Avilon sarcastically answered as he pushed a branch out of his way.
"Can he, meet my demands?" Harkon asked.
"To a degree," Avilon replied, slightly curious. "If you want City legendary marks, then we won't be able to pay you."
"Pfft. You stupid cultures, and your d*** materialistic needs..."
"Then, what do you want?!" Avilon yelled as he spun around. "I kept you alive, I thought that would suffice!"
"And if you killed me, you'd still be in the Prison-- we're even for that. I came to you for a reason, Bright Eyes. I thought you would know what that is..."
"Listen up, Harkon. You have a record that isn't too great, I can promise you, my Kell won't let you near our Den, let alone anywhere in it. Mark my words, run and hide-- I'll let you, but Keirvik won't, he would gut you where you stood."
Harkon, growing impatient, spun Avilon around. "All I want is acc--" Before Harkon could finish, he was laying on the ground ahead of Avilon. He lurched in pain but was shrieking his hideous laugh again.
The hunter had his four arms held up defensively. "Don't touch me again. I am giving you a chance to run, Harkon, I suggest you take it!" He ordered.
Harkon rolled over to his stomach, still hauntingly laughing. "Ooohhh, YEAH!!" He yelled as he cracked his neck. "That felt gooood..." The hunter in bones pulled out his knife-- Alex, as he called it-- and approached Avilon. "All I want... is access to your prison, or morgue, so I can--"
"You can f*** off, now!" Avilon stepped into his swing toward Harkon. However, the hunter held his knife in front of his face, splitting Avilon's hand between his middle and ring finger. "Son of a b****!" The exo yelled as he held up his severely damaged hand and dropped to his knees.
Harkon laughed again as he twirled 'Alex' between his fingers. "Hehehe! Ooohh... Is this how it's gonna be, Bright Eyes?" He placed his boot against Avilon's shoulder and forced him onto his back. "I was kinda warming up to you..."
"I gave you a chance to run!..." Avilon placed his feet against Harkon's stomach, then launched him into the trunk of a tree. When Harkon hit the tree, he dropped the knife beside Avilon. The four-armed hunter took the weapon and broke it at the blade, then tossed the shards in front of the hunter, who still had his face in the dirt.
Harkon slowly raised his head up to see his favorite weapon broken. He slowly reached for the blade as he began panting. The amount of void spewing out of his helmet increased dramatically as Harkon got angrier. Avilon shrugged it off and started jogging away.
Harkon cradled the broken 'Alex' in his arms and began to cry. "It's okay, baby. I got you, I got you..." He looked up to the cloak marked with the Thieves glyph. "You motherf***er!! You're dead, you hear me?!! Dead!! Dead!! You're DEEEAAAD!!"
Avilon quickened his pace, running straight for his Eliksni home. Harkon's voice quickly died out in the woods, to the point where it seemed nonexistent. A new noise filled the air, instead. Three Ceres Galliot ships flew overhead.
"Attention Prisoner 1055! We have tracked the stolen starcraft to this location! Turn yourself in to the Reef Guard and your punishment will be minimal!" Yelled a guard over the PA system.
Avilon watched the sky as the ships flew overhead, and listened carefully to the demands of the Awoken. He ducked in some bushes as a spotlight swept over his position.
"It seems like they really want to find you, Bright Eyes..." Harkon said hauntingly calm. He was perched on a branch watching the exo. Avilon quickly spun around and stared at the infuriated hunter. "I'm going to rip every little 'Fallen bone' out of your body before they find you... You'll be nothing more than a box of scrap!"
Avilon simply shook his head, challenging the hunter.
Harkon drew out 'Wayne', another one of his knives. "You're gonna avenge your little brother for me, you hear?" He held it, and Thorn tightly, then jumped off the branch. Avilon drew out a shock pistol and drew back one of his arms, ready to punch Harkon as soon as he was close enough.
