So I came up with this on my bed. It is similar, very similar to class order halls in WoW.
Basically every class has an order hall where you plan your adventure in Legion, upgrade your artifact weapon and can earn a very detailed order hall armor set.
Now what If Destiny 2 comes with a concept like this?
As a biased titan main, I will take these guardians as an example ;
Now as you probably know, there is a very popular Inn (somethingbrew) in the city, mainly visited by the Titans.
As my idea goes; leaders, advisories(?) and quartermasters gather in the Inn to offer Titans bounties, contracts and quests to aid their cause and maybe even accept them into the order. (Pilgrim guard, stoneborn, ETC.)
These missions award cosmetics like Marks, Emblems, shaders and all that crap. Kind of like Bane Of Crota.
Now every class gets a hall.
My idea for the Warlocks is that the Scholars of different schools or what you guys call it gather in a big library, or research center where they study the traveler, the light, darkness and all that.
Hunters go outside of the city, on a reclaimed area on maybe Russia, maybe even the cosmodrome. In the ruins of a storage area, a school or a monument.
Legendary hunters will come here to tell stories, teach the others or gamble. What you guys are up to is for yourselves.
This would, in my opinion, give the classes a more different feeling. They all go to their own social places with their class mates and give a more in depth view of both the Lore characters and groups and how the classes differ from each other.

I play warframe and still can not understand why we don't have captured fallen ketch as our own private base/social space. First off the lighthouse has been given this exact function if you go flawless in cheats of osiris so we already know 100% that it's a function destiny has. Secondly we captured the house of winter ketch in year frikkin 1. So there is zero reason that the interior map of that level cant be used to implement this for pve players It's not rocket science....really it isn't....just takes a little imagination to reuse what you already have....
