As an American living in California, I didn't concern myself too much with Brexit, I only knew as much as the average joe: the U.K. leaving the EU.
I know there's more to it than that, but I don't know what the more to it part is. I know a lot of people were up in arms about it, but those things are about all I know about Brexit.
So what exactly does Brexit mean to the people in the U.K.? How does this affect them? Why are some people both in the U.K. and the US up in arms about it? What does it even mean to people in the US?
Edit: I want to know what ramifications are coming for this. Or why everyone got their panties in a bunch over this.
