We typically correlate the term and/or idea of "ghost bullets" with hand cannons. But recently, I've been having an issue with my shotgun firing soft bursts of air at people at point blank range. Seriously. Perfect hit, Guardian completely within my sights, [i]well[/i] within even the lowest range shotgun range, pull the trigger on my Champion (reinforced barrel, putting it on par range+damage-wise with Matador, PC+1, CT-D, etc), feel the shot fire, see the recoil on the screen, and… poof! Nothing. The first few times, I did what anyone would do: I pulled out my Ghost and looked at the connections. It wasn't a red bar. So I assumed what, again, most anyone would assume: maybe it was some green bar lagging. But I wasn't noticing any other glitching or teleporting or anything. Now, though, it's been happening often enough to really irk me, and I find myself wondering if this is a prevalent issue that others are noticing with increasing frequency. I'm not what most would call a "shotgun warrior" (though I guess some people throw that title around at anyone who uses a shotgun even sparingly). I don't run around with nothing but my shotgun in my hands the entire match. I keep my primary out, and do quick swaps to my shotgun as the situation requires. These days, most of my kills come from my Her Revenge or my Aegis (occasionally my Imago, or my Mida once in a great while). So it's not like I'm seeing this issue [b]ALL[/b] the time, because I'm not holding/firing my shotgun nonstop. Is anyone else seeing this happen a lot?
