How would you feel about the idea of Nintendo deciding to stop producing home consoles, and instead developing games that will be officially sold for and playable on PC, PlayStation and Xbox?
We're not talking about the 3DS or anything like that. Those are great. We're just talking about systems like the Wii and Switch.

I don't think they'll have much of a choice if the switch flops. It's sad though, from the NES to the GC Nintendo kept up with Sony and SEGA. I can see how they managed to fall so far behind, falling out with Sony and having to use cartridges on the N64, choosing mini disks for the GC just as MP3 became a thing and made mini disks redundant and finally not having online multiplayer just as that became a thing... But focusing on gimmicks isn't going to save them. I wish they'd release a console with the power of the XBoneS and PSPro and made games to take advantage of it, like they did with GC and earlier consoles.
