Most people I find myself getting matched with in CA don't go for these beasts.
Had a 10.0 kd game with 19 vehicles kills. During my match I realised some key points to stay safe and get kills consistently.
1. Ramming/Bulldozing
Every time I face another player in an interceptor. I win that battle 80% of the time.
They will shoot the explosive projectiles to kill you. All you have to do. Is ram them head on with the boost. Their interceptor goes BOOM. You are untouched.
2. Limit line of sight.
You're exposed basically on your sides and back. If you have the higher ground and are facing your opponent they won't even see your head.
Use cover and make sure there is nobody behind you or far on the sides.
3. Face your target.
Facing your target just gives you cover of the entire vehicle essentially.
4. Lead your shots at range.
Take into account the position of the arms on the interceptor. You can be behind cover while sticking your right arm out in the open.
Players love jumping when you're in an interceptor. so shoot where you think they'll land.
5. Rotate positions frequently. Nobody who sits in one spot gets a streak going that often. In my 10.0 kd game. It was First Light. I rotated every time I got about 4 kills or cleared an area.
The only best way to counter an interceptor is getting your entire team to focus on the interceptor. Once the guy in it focuses on someone in particular. While he's trying to kill him his back head and sides are exposed. So shoot him! Also snipe too, most of my interceptor deaths were thanks to sniperoonies to the head.
So funny too. After my good match one of the guys went on my team from their team. He got in the interceptor immediately and rammed me into the wall killing me. Saltyyyy haha.
Hope this helps you all spark the chariot of fire.
