That scene where Noctis meets Luna in the spirit realm place? I was mistier than ash's gen one dreams.

You mean that scene that should finish with "Loser" flashing across the screen?
Ardyn wins in the end. All he wanted was the end of the royal bloodline, and the ability to finally die. He achieved both of these.
I'm going to be upfront about this- I really didn't care about these characters. Luna's death (for a moment I couldn't even remember her name she was so forgettable lol) really didn't effect me because I had no connection with her. Before that we had never even seen her! (Other than flashbacks and a few TV scenes or cutscenes) and with the others. Noct was an edgy, whiny child the entire game. Prompto was just some loser trying to hang with the big kids, (I kinda liked him. But the whole "I'm an MT lol but you're never hearing about this again except for this one specific scene were it is important" was rediculous.) muscle man (can't even remember his name.) was just a mindless asshole the entire game, but Iggy was probably the only character I actually enjoyed speaking with, and all around interacting with. He was probably the most fleshed out, and what they did with and to his character was great. (He was the only one I could actually think of off the top of my head lol) ardyn was a son of a bitch. (By threat I mean they did fantastic with his character. They made you like but be suspicious of in the beginning, but then despise with a fury brighter than a billion dying Suns by the end. I loved his character, and I really want his coat and hat. And that weird little crow wing/shield thing? That looked pretty cool burin not really sure of the purpose of it.) If you have seen the background of the development, you'll know they were rushed to high heaven to get this game out. (They only were able to have 3 years of actual Dev time!) a lot was cut, and it was re-written a few times. (Not joking, they had a few full games they could have made with all their re writes.) So I can't really blame them for such a rushed story. They did what they could, I 'spose. ~Have a nice day!

Edited by Skyrender6: 1/7/2017 3:01:33 PM*spoilers in this post* I started falling apart when you first leave Hammerhead in the future before starting the final mission and see the cooking menu. With the music that's playing, and the view of the bros eating and talking and laughing, you realize that that will be the last night that they will share before they die... The entire last chapter of the game was incredibly emotional. It was intense to hear Talcott talking about how the world fell apart after Noctis was sucked into the crystal. He was explaining it so calmly but you could hear the pain in his voice. And seeing all of those monsters roaming the land as he drove you back to town. -blam!-ing well done Square. I haven't been this impressed by you in so long.

The camping scene in the credits hit me the hardest personally

What they had for each other was legit.
