Have you seen the episode? What did you think? What would you rate it?
I'd give it a 6/10. I'm starting to realise that I'm not hugely into the direction the show is taking, but that's okay. I'm still going to stick with it, but this episode didn't hook me the way the others did. It feel as though it was both rushing and dragging on (especially at the beginning). Still, overall a good episode, though not excellent.

First off I'd like to say that this show can do more in one episode than most shows can do in an entire season. Granted they are cinema length. It is quite literally a visual novel. I just watched The Six Thatchers and I believe it was pretty good. Didn't blow me away but hopefully help to set an interesting dynamic for the season. I do agree that some parts felt rushed but I think that was intentional. It emphasized his intelligence and cockiness and his disregard for cases he finds boring or not challenging. This does get addressed later in the episode when Sherlock asks Mrs Hudson to say the word Norbury. The whole episode emphasized his larger than life persona which by the end, crushes it. I'll have to wait and see how the next episode follows up. I'm hoping it doesn't turn into Sherlock spiraling into self doubt or guilt. I'd probably still enjoy it but it's not the direction I want the season to go.
