Explosive Rounds and Ghost Bullets

I got my first Eyasluna yesterday. I was pretty happy when it dropped after an SRL race. It has Steady Hand/Hot Swap/Explosive Rounds/Litc (equipped to my Titan) I know that HC's need range to cure them (at least partially) of ghost bullets but... 1. How is this roll for PvP and PvE? I took into Supremacy and it actually did well at range. Many people want a Fatebrimger rolled Imago with no range perk is great for PvE but not so much for PvP. 2. Does explosive rounds help compensate for bloom? I ask because noticed hardly any ghost bullets whem shooting the gun. This could possibly be due to the game having to register the expsion of the explosive rounds. Im not sure if this is true though. When testing it out I noticed my shot damage registering at ranges far beyond those intended and also expected for HCs and my gun with base range. Just curious.
