Starting with HoW, Bungie started streaming the dlc's content to show us before its release. HoW showed us what PoE would be like. TTK showed more by letting players play the new subclasses and game mode at E3, streaming the shield bros strike and Court of Oryx, and letting YouTubers play the first mission. RoI went way too far and let players see the first mission (1 out of 5), along with full playthroughs of 2 strikes (out of 3) and showing the new exotics before release. It showed off too much content. I think it would be great for the community as a whole, to go into the game blind (aside from a few trailers, leaked concept arts, descriptions of what the game will be, and small bits of gameplay). But don't stream or give early access to half of the content to show it off before release, it takes away the surprise or new experience. Anyone else agree, if not state why?
