Huh, I just thought of this idea, but can we make our own custom Private Matches and publish them? Like with a time limit, title, directions at the start, certain maps, etc. We can create our own games now, but not like an actual new mode.
Like how about an Infection game, some guardians were creative enough to make an infection game before Rise of Iron, but instead of publicizing it on YouTube, we have a selection playlist where we can choose which game to play. Let's just create one right now in our heads!
Game Title: Infection!
Game Length: 5 Rounds ( Like Trials )
Round Length: 6 minutes.
Objective: One player is infected and he/she has to infect the rest of the fire team before the round ends. If the person wins a majority of the rounds, the infection team wins! If one person is killed, they automatically switch teams and help the infected. If the non-infected survives, they win. If the non-infected wins a majority of the rounds, they win.
Maps: Bastion, Skyshock, First Light.
Weapons:
Infected: Any Legendary Hand Cannon and Stolen Will
Non-Infected: Shadow Price and any Legendary sidearm.
This is sort of the idea I have for a new mode to be added into Destiny.
My only problem with this is that if it is popular, it might drown out Crucible.
