If any of you king gentle men and ladies helped me with the last post I made about gift exchange with a fellow friend who played the silver flute. Well I need help again with the gift. I need a good recommendation from fellow classical music players in devouring the best choice for a 5-10 classical arrangements on a CD.
You can suggest a composer and its top 5 or whatever floats your boat. I just need help choosing while I do my own research!
Thanks.
With love, papa milk.

Don't buy a CD because you can just listen to everything on YouTube or SoundCloud. Instead maybe buy him some sheet music. Ask him what he's interested in. Gifts are better when you know what they want.

Want a good idea? Take these songs off of Metallica's S&M album. She's gonna love it. Master Of Puppets Wherever I May Roam One Enter Sandman The Call Of The Ktulu The Memory Remains The Thing That Should Not Be Sad But True Nothing Else Matters No Leaf Clover These are some of the best songs off that album. It's the best classical music ever made. Definitely do this.

Talk to your band director, they always know the best classical stuff

I love Vivaldi's Seasons. It's amazing and based on the Roman/Greek gods. I can't pick a specific piece since I don't have it with me, but I recall loving Jupiter. Is that what you mean?
