Hello Guardians! I've gotten quite a few messages wondering where the UnofficialWeeklyUpdate has gone. It hasn't been cancelled, nobody has been selected to write them in my stead, and I do plan on returning. There are two big reasons for the absence: First, I took the month of November off for NanoWriMo (at the urging of a few friends, and being inspired by one particular user here) to begin work on my first Science Fiction novel. I only hit 17,000 words, but it was great to write! Writing a book is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, but it's nice to see my idea getting out and being fleshed out. Big thanks to Darkwyve for inspiring me to finally get my shit together and write something! Also, end of the year is murder where I work. We have a lot of companies dropping orders (to boost end of year numbers) and I have been inordinately busy lately. Yes I still play Destiny (a few of you eagle eyed Guardians have even hit me up when you find me in my scrublike scrubbiness in the Tower and on Patrol) and don't plan on stopping. Been having a lot of fun with SRL and enjoying the overall festive nature of the Tower (who DOESN'T like opening presents?!) UnofficialWeeklyUpdates are returning probably after the first of the year. I have the character set, and plenty of things to cover.
