Issue with Black Spindle
Soooo Im trying to get black spindle but the door wont open to go to the appropriate area. Ive tried through the daily and the heroic difficulty on the director. Any thoughts would be appreciated?

I checked and it still works on the ps3 even if you take your time. However, I can't get it to be open on ps4 with rise of iron. I knew i should have gotten it before i transferred my account. Judging by some of the comments it seems to be timed so I guess I'll just try getting to it faster.

Tried last week with a mate and yesterday with two, on both times we managed to do several runs without anyone dying and even when doing everything like clockwork and going FAST, the doors were ALWAYS closed... C'mon Bungie, fix this already...

11 RepliesSOLVED: You need to get to the door under 7:30 minute(s). Do not try to kill any adds just open the doors and run. Dying is not important anymore only time. This works for all the time you don't need to wait for daily.

2 RepliesI've tried many times through dec 2016 and Jan 2017 and the door is always closed. I'm a level 395 Hunter, I fly through avoiding all unnecessary enemies, no deaths on hard mode. Even on a perfect run the door is shut. This has to be bugged or there's some other prerequisite that hasn't been determined yet.

1 ReplyJust did this today (December 29, 2016) and it took 3 tries. First two tries the door was closed. On final try, I was able to get in after ignoring all adds and just putting in the orbs on first two doors. This is not bugged, you just got to move fast. Good luck for those who continue to try.

I just watched the doors close.. weird maybe it does have to be done in a timely manner?

1 ReplyI did get it to work yesterday. But as the update came today it's not opening. So there is an issue with their statement about it working at any point

It seems to have been bugged since the Dawning event started. Probably something to do with the update on the strike in that area.

Same. Didn't wipe and we breezed through all the way to the door. Trying to help 2 friends get it, and we didn't take even half the time that I did when I got it. Seems like it's screwed up since one of the updates. Thanks Bungie.

Yea same problem. Tried it twice last night and the door was closed. I straight up sprinted through the mission but the door was still closed.

Same here. Tried via the daily mission with some friends and heroic from the director and we certainly didn't wipe or took particulary long. The door was just closed. Before ROI I reached the door several times (even alone) while taking a good amount of time and it was idd open. Any ideas on this?
