Every fall release this year has already been discounted by 50% or more. Yesterday Amazon sold the Battlefield 1 bundle with statue and game for over $100 off. It's great for consumers, but it seems ridiculous to sell a game for $60 and then a month or two later sell it for less than $30. Why are publishers doing this to themselves? Is this the beginning of the end for $60 games?
