More vault space or legendary kiosks!!
What is it going to take for Bungie to address the longtime ongoing issue of lack of vault space?! It makes it really hard to keep coming back to play Destiny during events, such as Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris, or even The Dawning, when you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor. You have to carefully pick & choose which weapon or piece of armor you want to keep our get rid of. It's a REAL pain in the ass!!! 😠
Anyway, if Bungie has no immediate plans on increasing the vault space (which I have no idea what the problem is with that), why not add something like Legendary Kiosks for weapons & armor?! Maybe, even add more storage to the Postmaster, so that older items don't get deleted when that fills up. Something has to be done... ASAP!!

Bump. Bump. Bump. Having such a ridiculous lack of space is literally keeping me from wanting to bother getting all the new loot. What's the point? There's nowhere to put it. I honestly thought they would address this with Rise of Iron, but nothing. Then another event comes along... still nothing. F[b]u[/b]ck, Bungie, you suck.

I am tired of constantly having to delete items that look halfway interesting but there is no space left. I don't know why people are pushing legendary kiosks. There is not enough commonality between legendary weapons when one considers all of the the different rolls the weapons have. Vault space would be much better. It is also not as if the vault space should be taking up that much space in the system. Every weapon in this game with every roll they can have, every piece of armor (with their rolls), every sparrow, ship, horn, emblem, shader, material item and so forth can be uniquely identified by an encoded 32 bit long word (4 bytes), which means that every single item in today's vault (all 8 pages) can be represented in 2KBi of memory. Which is not a lot of memory! Especially with the GBi's of memory into modern consoles! Come on Bungie, live a little and Double our Vault space! It will only take 2KBi, that is less than 0.001% of the console memory available. [spoiler]If perchance my math is off because there are thousands of more weapons/armor in Destiny that Bungie has not revealed then they can easily encode everything in 64 bit long words (8 bytes) (which can handle millions of new items) which doubles the current memory requirement to 4KBi, which if they then doubled the vault space to 8KBi still takes less than 0.001% of the console memory available[/spoiler]

Lack of content and juggling stuff between characters made me stop playing. I've been back on to do a bit of SRL and see what's new, but not having enough vault space doesn't make me hungry to acquire the new armor etc'. That's a shame and defeats the object of the game really. Bungie should just give us a definitive answer on this. And I'm not sinking anymore money into Eververse either, they're starting to really push their luck with that one.

I think they should just scrap the vault and have everything organized in kiosks. Bungie could also put a pop up menu after you select weapon you want that has all the different perk combinations that you've collected.

Want to see how much of your gear really isn't worth holding onto? Use chrome, run destiny item manager, and see how little of all that hoarded gear is even a 90% roll towards getting an optimum build on stat rolls.

4 RepliesVault space complaints come down to one thing...horrible organization. I guarantee everyone that complains about vault space has a bunch of junk and duplicate stuff in there. There should be no year one exotic weapons / armor. The vault should not be full of exotic weapons b/c any of them can be pulled from the Kiosk and any weapon you get as a drop once you are 400 drops at 400 so you can infuse any weapon up to that from the kiosk. I ran out of vault space b/c of the dawning b/c of the sparrow racing gear and the new armor set but that is b/c I still have my fault stuffed full of legendary weapons / armor I was going to use to scrap for marks if it was needed but I sit at 190-200 marks all the time now so If I go in and clean out all of my junk than I wont have a full vault anymore. A lot more people need to look at what crap they have in there and clean it out, between our characters, the kiosks and the vault there is enough space. We wont see a bigger vault until Destiny 2 anyway its just not going to happen b/c of the engine of the game that was built to also accommodate last gen systems

I love collecting loot in Destiny until I realize Bungie designed it to limit the amount of loot I can collect. Not many other collecting games limits you in the amount of stuff you can collect. In that aspect, Destiny certainly seems revolutionary.

Only problem with a kiosk is the insane number/combination any weapon can have as it relates to perks. Would a kiosk just have a flat offering that rotated once a week? The ability to reforge for "x" amount of glimmer or legendary marks? I like the idea of the kiosk, but there's too much going on with the weapons already. I think doubling the vault space should be reasonable.

They should have a legendary kiosk where you can get stuff you've unlocked as random rolls for 200 legendary marks and a stable one with crap rolls for about 10 marks. So if you just want to dress up in lets say trials gear you could but if you want a good set you have to save up for it or play trials and get it how we get it today which will be quicker

One vault for each character with a smaller common shared space.

A kiosk for all weapons/armour that you have unlocked should be available without cost of removing!

They can't do kiosks for legendary weapons because of the rolls that are possible exotics and the gunsmith weapons are all the same so they can be purchased but it would literally be impossible for the legendary weapons

Big fat bump I just want to be able to look at all the cool stuff I've collected. I honestly think kiosks are the way forward but seriously - just have ONE KIOSK with everything in. I don't want to spend half an hour walking around the tower looking for stuff in different ones. Also, we need a better sorting and organisation system not just the cluster fcukwe have now please.

The exotics have their own kiosk. All they need to do is allow us to put them all in there, without losing the unlocks/light level. And add a kiosk for ghost. I believe this would help tremendously...

I'm SICK of this ongoing issue. I'm annoyed that the new armour sets from the treasure boxes is not available in the holiday kiosk after you unlock it. If i'm paying real money to acquire this stuff, I should have the room to hold/store it AND be able to get it back later.

What would be amazing would be Raid Kiosks. I have a set of raid gear from every raid for every class. All raid gear has at exact same perks so rerolls for the "perfect roll" wouldn't be a thing.
