A user recently posted regarding an interesting phenomena called The Eotvos Effect, that purportedly effects the motion of terrestrial objects traveling east or west. I will admit, I had not heard of this before. So I would like to thank ifarted69 for bringing it to my attention. Here is how wiki describes the effect:
The Eötvös effect is the change in perceived gravitational force caused by the change in centrifugal acceleration resulting from eastbound or westbound velocity. When moving eastbound, the object's angular velocity is increased (in addition to the earth's rotation), and thus the centrifugal force also increases, causing a perceived reduction in gravitational force.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E%C3%B6tv%C3%B6s_effect
However, this supposed effect is rather minuscule and is measured using instruments calibrated with spherist assumptions in mind. But I will assume it actually happens for the sake of discussion.
The major problem with the Eotvos effect: it assumes that gravity exists and that the earth is round and rotating. Therefore, its fundamental weakness stems from the fact that mainstream science will not consider any other possible cause for this given effect. This is a fundamental problem with science across the board. But as the earth is actually Flat, many other forces are in play that can potentially explain the Eotvos Effect that mainstream science has ignored. Two major natural forces come to mind:
Universal Acceleration
Universal Acceleration (you can read more about it here, in my forthcoming blog) is what causes the perceived effects of gravity. Basically, the UA is caused by a magnetic current of force that flows as a contained stream through the universe, carrying objects of sufficient surface area upwards in its path. That magnetic force is all around us, resonating with the Flat earth (a probable cause of Earth's magnetic field). What role might the magnetic force of the UA play in the Eotvos Effect? Probably a lot. But mainstream researchers (the guys with money to do research) will never take a look...
Planetary "Wobble"
Planetary wobble is the phenomena that I postulate is responsible for the tides. Some of you might remember, but I made a video awhile back explaining this. The slight forward wobble of the cylindrical disk of the earth, combined with the force of the UA, could generate the Eotvos Effect.
"Well wheres your facts Krishna!?! Why Dont YOU go test this???"
Maybe some day I and other Planar Theorists will possess the funds necessary to perform formalized research. Even if I did, spherists would cry foul, saying the scientific method was not adhered to. But Flat Earth facts are strong, and are backed by empirical observation along with rational inferences drawn directly from observation itself. That being said, I would like to ask ifarted69 a question: if the Eotvos Effect is so prevalent, why dont we notice it when driving across America in either direction? Why doesnt the supposed west to east 1000mph rotation of the ball earth not effect the Narmada river in India, which flows AGAINST the earths rotation?
Anyways, thanks for the compelling question. Discussion is always a good thing and I thank ifarted69 for bringing up an interesting topic.
Unfortunately, I am busy finishing up finals for the next few days. So any of you that respond probably wont hear from me till Friday at the earliest.
Stop beating a dead horse gimmick

Edited by Haelyn: 12/14/2016 8:07:28 PMI don't agree with your ideas but at least you back your stuff up with actual evidence, not like others who use things like the Bible to support their claims. Kudos to you for that

"...I and other Planar Theorists..." Is that the same as "Ancient Alien Theorists"?

Send nudes of your flat world so my circular world can have something to look at.

Damm people are taking this joke too far
-
I like how people have these scientific discussions about this but we've been to space already we saw the earth was a sphere it's like why?
-
Good explanation.. -blam!- haters

Edited by SuperStormDroid: 12/14/2016 8:25:58 PMOops. I must have created a repeat post, thinking I was replying to OP.

How did you create a link like this?
-
Is Venus flat too? Is the Sun flat? The moon flat? The stars? Is your penis flat? Are your mom's boobs flat? Get lost with your flat Earth obsession.
-
Why does the sun dissapear over the horizon amd why cant anybody reach the edge of the earth
-
This is a great response, but you always ignore my problem with the flat earth theory. Why is it sunny in the US while it's night time in Australia?
-
Anyone else tired of this guy? We get it. Do us a favor and find a new character already!

I have to say, im impressed at your dedication.

So what about Gravity and the coriolis effect?
-
Edited by ImOnPlate2Guys: 12/14/2016 3:04:35 PMIs it so easy to just say, gravity does not exist? How do you proof your Universal Accelerator then? For that, complete star alignments have to dissapear each day. And, according to gravity studies, gravity is the strongest around the equator. How do you explain that on a flat earth?

Sometimes I REALLY think you're not trolling...
please be a troll... :-:
There some nice, "tvs" you got up there in your rockets, real nice hd ya know..... THE WORLD IS AN OBLATE SPHEROID PASS IT ON

what a troll

Still boring. Ever heard the term "beating a dead horse"

The more and more I see these, the more I'm sure that it's got to be a troll, but I'm so triggered that I take the bait anyway.

If the Earth wasn't round then Day would occur at the same time for virtually every place on the planet.5

Edited by Element Ninja: 12/14/2016 2:16:49 AMSo you are challenging the meta of mainstream science and I respect that, regardless if I agree with your reasoning or not. However, I will now challenge your own meta: What practical and applicable function do you see in whether the earth is round or flat? Why is it a big deal functionally? I say this in similar fashion of Sherlock Holmes not giving a damn about how our solar system is arranged, because there isn't much applicable value in knowing it.
