*A Wild Gringo has appeared*
As the election spurs down and people emotionally cope with Trumps victory and people who dislike Trump's victory, I feel like now would be a great time to share my observations about the hypocrisy of a Post-Election America.
Let me explain.
Just to say I disliked Trump more than I did Hillary but I assure, I am calling everyone out on this.
When the election was in full swing, a big proponent of Trump's campaign was that he claimed that the election was rigged. During a debate when asked if he would accept the results of the election, Trump claimed he would wait and see. This made headlines and for good reason. Hillary Clinton said that if you do not accept the results of the election, you undermine the republic we love so dearly in America. Hillary supporters generally jumped on this opportunity to say that Trump and his supporters were sore losers and were putting themselves in front of the country. Trump and his supporters stood firmly and said the election was rigged. Many said they would protest Hillary's win since they claimed it would be unfair. Both sides stood by this...
Until Trump won.
Hillary supporters took to the streets and protested the election claiming it was rigged and demanded a recount. Trump and his supporters called them out as "crybabies" and "sore losers". Hashtags were formed and Jill Stein (because why not) even got recounts in a few places. Hillary supporters blamed the electoral college since she had won the popular vote and Trump supporters denounced them for trying to undermine the republic we love so dearly in America.
Do you see what I am getting at? You can not denounce someone for saying they will protest the results, and then continue to do that very same thing yourself. You can not say that you will protest the results and then mock those who do just that. It is hypocritical and the amount of people partaking in this idiocy is astonishing. While the election is running down and people go back to their lives, I thought it was just something to bring up.

My favorite example of hypocrisy is Trump's claim to drain the swamp, and then turn around and hire the exact people he cited as being part of the problem.
-
You wanna know how Trump won?
Meme Magic and the Power of KEK
-
There's not really grounds for hypocrisy on the Trump side there though since they had legitimate evidence of the election being rigged against Trump already. There was good reason for Trump supporters to protest if Hillary had won. As of right now there's no evidence of the election being rigged against Hillary, it is pure sore loser butthurt.
-
If there was any rigging in this election, it was because people believed that Hillary was rigging the election and tried to counter-rig it.
-
You're just beginning to see through the charade. Politicians apply whatever rhetoric necessary to achieve their goals. It's all bullshit. None of it's true and all of it's true. Hillary opposed gay marriage her entire life. That didn't stop her from being an advocate. There are no conservatives and no liberals. There is no ideology. We simply have liars pandering to an audience while cutting back room deals with their lobbyists so they have more money to effectively pander to their audience.
-
This is why I wrote in Harambe
this election was a joke
-
You're right, but also understand that not all of those people represent us liberals as a whole. I, myself, am certainly pissed that Trump won. I think that was one of the worst decisions in this country's history. Am I going to take to the streets and do stupid shit? No, it's not going to accomplish anything. Us liberals are fuçked until representative elections come around again. At this point I'm just hoping that America doesn't go from republic to theocracy in this time.

Edited by GG ALLIN RIP: 12/10/2016 5:37:02 PMTrump is a known con man. How hard would it be to believe that he was saying that knowing that Dems would counter it and say the system works, THEN participate in the same behavior he claims to be a victim of? Hillary also got 1.8 million votes more than he did. How is that not rigged, or at least total bullshit? There IS some shady shit going on this election. This is also what happened in 2000 and again in 2004. Back then New Mexico, Florida, and Ohio all had what was referred to as "phantom votes" (more votes on the machines than there was voters), and there was also a sizeable amount of votes from the deceased. Obama is currently pushing the intelligence community to be forthcoming with what they know about Russia likely meddling in the election. Mark my words that there will likely be a huge scandal involved with this con man, but this is America and bullshit is our way of life and elections are just pageantry to make the public feel like they actually have a say. He'll either be completely ineffective, a huge failure, or just used as a distraction for a conservative senate to push their agenda.

..........he hired one of the co founders of the wwe to help run our country. Just let that sink in and let this be a lesson to vote responsibly next time

Edited by HeadHunter: 12/8/2016 12:55:34 PMJust stop, Hillary lost fair and square because Americans knew she was running for president for personal gain and would not put the countries best interest before her own. Trump said the system was rigged, not the election. If you think hes wrong about that then just look what happened to the communist bernie. The system is rigged. You mention that jill wants to do a recount, and say why not. Well Jill is a con artist, getting rich off these recounts. She has been raising money for "recounts" since the early 2000's. I hope you donated money for her. Trump has already done so much for our country and he isnt even president yet. Trump and his supporters are winners. Hillary and her supporters are losers. Big ol sore losers.

People beleive in what "feels" right to them, whether it is Trump or the Round Earth Theory...
-
The problem is the popular vote win came from overwhelming support in democrate one states. Unfortunately those were fer and there are far more republican states she held no sway in. The basis of a recount for losing the electoral based on the popular vote pull if a few states is unfounded and pathetic.
California having over 50 electoral votes is also a crok of shit
-
I agree with Hillary supporters that the electoral college is a flawed system. The issue is they weren't saying this before the election. They're not protesting it because it's flawed, they're protesting it because it allowed Trump to win.

I agrre completly man.

Edited by Dayman: 12/10/2016 1:02:52 AMPolitics is built on hypocrisy. From both sides.
-
We recounted. Trump still won. In fact, the recount revealed a lot of fraud on Hillary's end, so technically it was rigged but Trump still won.
-
The election system is certainly flawed, but I don't think it was rigged XD
-
Thank you for saying this. I've been telling people this and they keep telling me that I'm messed up and that the two are completely different. Dumb liberals

Edited by Scoose_McGoose: 12/8/2016 11:57:23 AM"Love Trumps Hate"
By the way, Trump could have used that in his own campaign.
*Trump wins* *Liberals protest, burn flags and beat up people* Makes sense to me.

Edited by Cobravert: 12/8/2016 3:35:45 PM
Hillary supporters took to the streets and protested the election claiming it was rigged and demanded a recount.
I'll do you one better. From what I have seen, the people who were (are still) crying, wailing, and throwing fits of despair over Trump's win are not really that much Hillary supporters. They are former Bernie supporters. Darn near every person I saw extolling 'Feel the Bern' throughout the primaries are the ones having the hardest time with these post election results. Some of the woe, doom and gloom as well as just outright hatred toward people who didn't agree with them is just mind boggling. They manifest this all into apocalyptic proportions with the amount that they seem to be carrying on. This just does not compute in my apparently feeble brain. They castigate and lecture everyone who opposes them on why Hillary / Trump. What about the DNC throwing Bernie under the bus is it that they do not understand? Are they that blind to their own that they do not see how broken their own party is? (Despite the fact that the GOP is in no better shape). The candidate that they were so gung-ho never had any real chance of winning the Democratic nomination, because of subversion inside their own ranks. Post Democratic convention, they line up in rank and file and become the most ardent Hillary supporters despite the fact that she is the reason that their candidate was never a real option. Now post election continuing to today they are the most disgruntled people acting like children in the midst of their terrible 2's. I forgot. Blind hate doesn't have to make sense.
I am not now nor have I ever been a Trump supporter. My candidate did not make it either. I am merely stating what obviously has transpired since the election, but no one seems to want to throw a light upon. I find this very odd.
Hillary winning would be an example of government corruption and biased mainstream media. Trump's victory was an upset too all of that. Yes, on a shallow surface both sides are hypocrites. However the implications are not.
-
Degenerate scumbag
-
Still waiting to find out how many "not my president" protestors didn't vote
if you didn't vote and protest the results, your opinion is invalid.
-
You missed the part where Jill "Shrek" Stein only chose states where Trump won narrowly, but not Hillary. I can't wait till Trump drains the swamp.
-
The only thing I agree with is what Laci Green said before the election. It will take some time to heal the divide the election caused. Unfortunately, she -blam!-s it up after the election ends saying that Republican rule is Facism.
