Can we just talk about how bad those Last Word skins look? The Black Spindle and Thorn skins look beautiful while the Last Word skins look like straight doo doo. How do you manage to make the Last Word look bad? Also, what's up with the solar and void Thunderlord rip offs still having the electricity effect in their respective thumbnails?
What I have seen on The Dawning so far has not inspired much faith although I do really hope I am wrong and this new event doesn't turn out to be similar to Festival of the Cost. Festival of the Cost pushed me away from Destiny for a few months now and I'm hoping this new event makes the game worth playing again but I am not overly optimistic. Here's to hoping I am wrong.

Well, the record book is free this year, so it's already looking better than Festival of the Co$t

they are ok, not really an improvement over the original TLW, just different. but thats how i feel about all the new skins, i dont think any are that great or better than the original. the thorn acid is kinda cool, one of the bad juju skins are cool, the red deaths are all actually pretty good, the zhaho one with the lighting decals is a little better than the original, kvostov is ok, wolfs howl are ok, but the rest are all terrible. i have the red one on the nemesis star just because i got it and that thing looks weird no matter what.
