Yep pretty much. They desperately want to keep this game relevant until the release of the sequel

Well that's what the live team is meant to do. It's the life support for the game. I don't care. I love the game and I will play any content they throw at in support of what they do. The only thing I won't do is purchase micro-transactions. Other people do that for me.
