Zavala patted Cayde on the back as he walked to the end of the table. The Speaker whose robes were stained red stood next to Zavala. Saladin was to Zavala’s left. Aion looked to them all. Then the Speaker spoke. “We seek to cower behind a broken god still long after the Heart is dead. No more. I suggest we take a new form of Government. No more Vanguard, no more Crucible, no more Consensus. Only the Conquerors and the Conquered. The Symmetry will be reorganized as our new Consensus. And for the Vanguard, the Concordat.” Everyone looked at him. In shock, anger, and disgust. Then the Speaker took a gun out of his robes. It was The Last Word. The Speaker then took off his mask and his robes. It was Hades. He looked to them. “I had to pry this gun from Bacon's corpse but I finally got it.” Hades lit it with fire and shot at the table blowing everyone back. Aion hit the door. Then, Hades fired 3 Golden Gun shots into Aion’s chest, head, and well… WHERE DO YOU THINK? Everything around the Chosen seemed to freeze. In terror but also surprise. Hades looked to everyone. “What? You thought you had hope? No. You've never had hope. There is no such thing as a Chosen. They are just as strong as any other Guardian. And they can die just as easily.” Hades put The Last Word in a holster on his belt. He walked to the end of the Hall. “Give me his Ghost. And the deed will be done.” Hideo walked up to the corpse of Aion and took his Ghost. He then made his way to Hades. With fear he handed the Concordat commander the Chosen Guardian’s Ghost. Hades grabbed it. Then suddenly he was blown back. From the Ghost, Aion had self resurrected. Then the flame of Radiance became a Stormtrance. Hades kept getting hit with the lightning bolts. He spread his energy across his sword and used his poison. His sword swung at Aion. His Malignant Glaive. Poison and Arc flew across the Valdese bouncing between the two streams of power. Then Aion jumped and tossed his Nova Bomb at Hades. The Hunter blocked it with his sword. Aion took out his Young Wolf’s Howl. He slammed it into Hades, breaking the blades and sending Hades slamming into the floor. Hades jumped upwards to the ceiling and grabbed his Matador from his back. He shot at the Chosen. Then a shell hit Aion in the leg. He fell to the ground. Squirming, the Chosen tried to get up or at least escape. Then Hades stabbed his broken sword into Aion pinning him to the ground. He took his Achlyophage Symbiote off. “Out of the six of you, Aion, you were always my favorite.” Hades took a sword from the wall of the Crucible Hall. He then raised it up. Everyone in the Vanguard Hall ran towards Hades. But they were not fast enough. Just a foot away from ending Aion and his Ghost forever, a pulse of bullets hit hades in the back of his neck. A blade came thrusting into Hades. The Concordat dropped his sword to the ground. From behind, Eris stood with the Dark Drinker in her hands. She was alongside a Taken Warlock and 3 strangers. Aion got up. “Thank you Eris. And you… uh… Stranger.” The Stranger nodded and disappeared. Everyone looked to her. The entire group walked onto the plaza. With hands held high, into a sky so blue, the Guardians knew that there was hope. They knew that the Concordat had now been beaten. There were no more leaders. For once, at least for now, there was peace in the Last City. Until Daltec was found again. END OF PART 5 (sorry for the short Episode. It was meant to be the end of part 1 of Season 2. Climactic?
